“Come on lets go boy” I call my dog Scout. He jogs over and I put his leash on, we head outside and it looked like it was going to rain. “Well let’s try” I say and we start to walk down the street. Once we were a block away a guy ran into me. “ooff” “oh my gosh I’m soo sorry” the guy says. “Oh it’s alright” I tell him. He stretches his hand out to help me up, “thanks” I say while untangling Scouts leash. “my names Jake” “I’m Destiny” I tell him “pretty name” I smile and he said “since I ran into you how about I take you out for coffee”  “umm sure but I have my dog so…” I say “well come over to my place I can make coffee and cookies” he says while smiling. “Umm sure if that’s alright with you” he nods and says “follow me” I follow him down the road to a big white house. “Wow this is your house??” I say, this house is like a mansion “haha my parents are kinda rich” “no kidding” he leads me to the gate and He presses a button and says “Paul it’s me Jake”  the gate opens and Jake leads me to the front door. He opens it, to the front room. In it there’s a staircase, a way to the living room, a door leading to the dining room, a hallway leading to an indoor pool, and another hallway leading to a porch. “Oh wow” I say and Jake just  laughs “alright come on we can go to the living room I guess, and don’t worry your dog can come to, but he is friendly right?” “Oh ya Scouts friendly” I say, Scout barks and wags his tail. “good cause we actually have two Golden Labs” “oh really??” I said “ya” we go into the living room and sit down, just like Jake said two Golden Labs came in. “this is Lucy and Zoey” he tells me “aww they are so cute” I say getting up to pet them, Scout barks and runs off with them to the back yard. “so Destiny you hungry?” “umm I guess” I say “alright come with me.”

 We get up and head through a door and we were in the kitchen. There were chefs and maids in there making food. “uhh Jake did ya leave something out?”  I ask him “oh haha suppers in like two hours they are just making food for my family.” “oh” Jake walks over to the fridge and grabs strawberries and whip cream. He walks over to me and tells me to follow him, we go to the sun deck, and by sun deck I mean a deck with glass walls around it. I see the three dogs playing in the mud, we sit down on the porch swing and we eat the strawberries and whip cream. “so how many people are in your family?” I ask him. “umm I have my two parents, and four sisters” “oh really?  What are their names? And ages?” I ask “haha umm Sarah, She is 18, Jacelyn is 13, Miley and Courtney are twins they are 9. What about you?” “oh umm im an only child my parents aren’t really around so they got me Scout when I was 10. How old are you?” I tell him “oh… I’m 16, what about you? How old are you?” he says “I’m 15” he smiles and we just laugh. After talking for two hours he said “so are your parents’ home?” “umm no just our maid is at home” I look out and it started to rain “oh so do you want to stay for supper?” I look over to him, no one has ever asked me to stay, actually ive never talked to anyone this long. “umm I don’t know, I guess if its alright with your family” he laughs and says “I’m sure its alright” I nod and we look out at the rain “crap” I say. Jake looks at me “what?” “Scouts going to be all muddy” “oh well follow me” he says and he helps me up, he guides me to a garage. “why are we here?” I ask.

 He turns on the lights and I see Horses, dogs, cats, a cage of rabbits, a few bird cages, and a cage with a ferret in it. “oh I see you guys are animal lovers” I say “haha ya I guess you can say that.” He grabs my arm and brings me over to the dogs. He goes through a cupboard “so where did you get all of them?” I ask “well all the dogs, cats, two of the horses, and the ferret are all mine, I got some off the street, saved some, bought some.” “oh……” I say, like that’s a lot of animals, I can barely take care of one. “ya umm can you hand me that remote?” he says, I grab the remote and give it to him “follow me again” he says to me, he goes to another room and shuts the door behind me. “alright here” he gives me a rain coat. “umm ok??” I put the coat on and he presses a button and it opens a door and he says  “LUCY……… ZOEY………. SCOUT!!!!!!!” all three dogs come and walk into the garage. He shuts the door and walks over to me. “I can take the coat now” I look at the coat I was wearing and it was soaked, “oh sure” I take the coat off and hand it to him. He hangs it up and Scout comes over to me, “hey boy your all muddy” I laugh and he licks my face. “haha” I look up to Jake and he was just staring at me “he’s like my only family really” I tell him, my parents aren’t really there for me, my maid basically raised me “I’m sorry here”  he helps me up and gives me a hug “oh umm thanks” we just hugged until his phone rang. “one sec.. hello?......ya I’m in the barn…..ya I have a friend over……….. ya can she?......alright thanks…..ok be right there……ok bye” he hangs up and tells me “my mom said you could stay for supper” “ok” he grabs my hand and brings me back inside, we head upstairs to his room. “wow your room is so cool.” I say I was standing in he doorway, if I looked to my left I saw his king size bed, if I looked to the right he had a huge bathroom, and in front was a huge walk in closet. “haha I’m just going to change my shirt umm do you want one?” I looked down at my shirt and it was wet also “umm sure I guess” he laughs and nods. He walks over to the closet and takes off his shirt and he grabs two shirts. “here” he walks over to me while putting on a shirt. “you can change in the bathroom I guess”

I nod and head to the bathroom to change my shirt. He gave me a KISS t-shirt, I walked out and he was laying in his bed “you look good, now come on lets go eat” I nod and he grabs my hand again and leads me down to the kitchen. We walk in and his family is there sitting, “guys this is Destiny, Destiny this is my family” “hi” I say they all say hi and Jake brings me over to sit beside him. We start to eat and one of Jakes sisters says to me “hi I’m Jacelyn” “hi I’m Destiny” I say “so do you like my brother?” I look over to Jake and he was talking to his older sister. “Umm I don’t know” Jacelyn nods, Jakes mom says “Alright Jake me and your father need to talk to you so Jacelyn, Sarah can you take Destiny to the games room?” “sure” they say “come on Destiny “ Jacelyn says, I thank Jakes mom and follow the girls to the games room, once we were there we sit down and Sarah asks “so do you like my brother?” “Umm I don’t know why??” “oh just cause he likes you” Sarah says “how do you know?” I ask “well he brought you home, you guys ate strawberries and whip cream on the sun deck, he brought you to his barn, and he is letting you wear his shirt” Jacelyn said.  “oh” I say, do I like Jake? I don’t know….. Maybe I do….. Urgg I don’t know “so do ya?” Jacelyn asks “I don’t know I guess…..” “That’s good” Sarah says “what do you mean? You’re not mad?” I ask “well we like you; you’re not like his last girlfriend.”  Sarah says “ oh?” “ya haha anyways let’s do something fun. Want to play just dance 4?” Jacelyn says “umm sure I guess”

After half an hour of playing just dance 4 Jake came in with Scout, Lucy, and Zoey. “Hey Scout” I say. I look at my phone and it’s like 8pm.”I should be going.” “Alright lets go get your shirt” I nod and look over to Jacelyn and Sarah, they had these really weird grins, I smile and say “ok bye, text me later” they say sure and I head upstairs to Jakes room. “Can I have your number?” he asks “umm sure, um” I have my shirt in my hand it was still soaked “just keep my shirt” I look at Jake and he’s smiling “um thanks” “no problem” we swap numbers and he walks me to the door “Scout here boy” I call. Scout comes and I put his leash on. “Thanks for everything Jake” I give him a hug and Scout barks. “Bye” he says I head out the door and back to my place.
