Recap

I walked to the front door of the house, and I knocked on it; nervous of what might happen. The door opened and I saw who has been calling me...

Standing in front of me was Drew, "Drew?" I said, he smiled and invited me in "What are you doing here?" I asked him, he brought me to the living room, it was different, and it had a feeling of home. "Well I moved in here around a year ago, I saw how terrible the previous owners treated it, so I decided to fix it up" we walked around, he brought me to the stairs and to my room, "Then I found out that this was your house" he tried to open the door but it was locked, I looked at him "I haven't been able to open it, so I tried this room", we walked to Laurie, and Thomas' room, and it was unlocked, "This one was open so I took it" I looked inside and it was actually really nice. Drew walked over to the closet, he pulled three big boxes out, "These must be yours" he placed them on his bed, "See" he pulled out a couple pictures, drawings, and a bunch of Laurie and Thomas' stuff "Oh" I said, Drew looked at me "I can help you carry them" I nodded, we both grabbed a box, and walked downstairs, out the door and to my van, "Umm, over here" I said, I brought the side door. I opened it, and there was Scout barking and growling, "Scout! It's ok boy" I said putting the box on the ground, I pet his head. Drew watched me as I did this, "Here" I took the box from him "I'll go grab the last one" I nodded, Drew went back inside. I looked at Scout, he was nervous, Drew came out and put the box in the van, I closed the door and said "Now what was those phone calls all about?" he looked around and then said "I found out what happened to you, so I dug into it a bit, and I found out that Laurie was in jail, so I decided to visit her" I looked at him, I leaned back on the van "And?" I said "well I talked to her about lots, but she kept saying Jacob would bail her out, and that they would both find you, so I thought she meant Jake" I stared at him, hoping he was joking "Please don't tell me she said Jacob.." Drew looked at me "Yea, Jacob, isn't Jake short for Jacob?" he asked, I looked at the house "No, it doesn't." I opened the van door, "look, stop looking into this, it is dangerous. Just leave it, get your stuff now!" I told him, he ran inside and five minutes later he came out with a suitcase, "Hop in, you didn't leave any evidence of you being here?" I asked him, I pulled out of the driveway "No, I didn't"

I pulled into the vet "You want to come in? I just have to get Lucy checked" Drew looked at me, then the dogs "Sure" we got out and walked to the back, I opened the trunk, I grabbed the leashes, "come Scout" I opened the gate, he licked Lucy than jumped out, I attached the leash onto him and handed it to Drew, I helped Lucy out, and put a leash on her "What's wrong with her?" he asked, "I think she is pregnant again" he nodded, I shut the trunk and we walked into the vet. Once we were in I could smell all the animals, "Hi Barb" I said to the receptionist "Hello there Destiny, Hi Scout and Lucy!" she said, "Take a seat, Doctor Schwartz will see you soon" I thanked her, and went to sit down on the chairs "Hi Destiny" a lady said beside me, "Hey Laura, hi Billy" I said to her and her bulldog, Scout went to check Billy out, while Lucy laid down by my feet "You know a lot of people here" Drew said "Well I have a lot of animals at home, you'll see when we get there" I told him he nodded "Lucy?" the doctor called, I stood up, and gave a gentle tug "come on guys" Scout and Lucy followed me into the examination room, "Hello Destiny, Scout, Lucy" Doctor Schwartz said "Hey Victor" He smiled, "So who will it be today?" he asked, "Lucy" I helped her up on the table "She is pretty full today" Victor said I laughed, Drew sat down in a chair petting Scout "Alright so she is around a month, judging by the looks of her" I pet her head "Wait, how do you know?" Drew asked, Victor pulled out a diagram "Well since she is a golden lab, she will have a loss of appetite, she'll slowdown in their activity level, she will have a change in her nipples or her behavior is changing" Drew looked dumbfound "As the pregnancy progresses you will notice an increase in her appetite and she will begin to gain weight. That's about her one month mark" Drew's mouth dropped open "Alright that's enough learning, Destiny I'm going to the bathroom" and he left, Victor and I laughed "well Lucy looks amazing, you are doing great girl" he pet her head. We walked out and I went to Barb "Here you go guys" she said handing Lucy and Scout a treat "bye" I walked out and put the dogs in the back, Drew was already in the van "To much for you?" I asked him, he rolled his eyes; we were quiet all the way to my parents.

I pulled in the driveway, and four of the pups came running, I parked and got out, Connor and Crush came running to me, they were jumping up and kissing me, I bent down "Hey guys" I kissed their heads, I walked to the back where Sophie and Katie were "hey girls" I opened the trunk, I opened the gate Scout jumped out, and I helped Lucy out, her kids ran circles around her, I brought Drew into the house, "mom?" I called out "You can put your stuff there" I pointed to a chair, I walked around until I found Barkley and Brady "Hey my handsome boys" they barked and gave me a kiss "Where's DeDe and Britt?" Brady stood up, barked and ran off, I followed him, I found them and my mom in the back yard in the garden "Hey guys!" I called out, thy all looked at me, Brittany came running towards me "mommy!!!" I picked her up and spun her around "hello my angel" and I kissed her cheek, I set her down and we walked to the garden, "mmuum" Diana said, I looked at her and smiled, I bent down and picked her up "hello to you too" she giggled "what about me?" My mom said I laughed and said "hello mom" she stood up and I gave her a hug. "well I got some news" my mom picked Brittany up and we went inside.

We grabbed a coffee and some juice for the girls and headed into the living room, "so guess what's girls" I asked Brittany and Diana, "what momma?" Brittany asked, I put Diana down "Lucy is going to be a mommy again!" Brittany started to jump up and down "really mommy?!" I laughed "yes sweetheart" Brittany jumped and ran out the door yelling "Lucy!!! Come here!!!" My mother laughed "again? Where are you going to keep them all?" I shrugged. Drew came through the door "there is a lot of dogs here" we laughed "well I guess I better get home, I love you mom" we stood up and hugged, "I love you too" she kissed me forehead, I picked Diana up and headed out.

Oh my gosh! It's Saturday...... Sorry!!!! I meant to post Thursday, but I was busy.... and I forgot about it until now!

So I'm in California! That's why it was late!

The next chapter won't be posted until Saturday because I'm on a cruise all week starting Monday! So I'll start typing the next one!!!
