Chapter 10

A couple of weeks had passed, the students were still trying to get closer to you, but it wasn't working.

You spent most of your time walking around the building or sat in your room reading.

There was a soft knock on your door, making you look up from your book.

"Enter." You called.

The door was pushed open, and Toshanori stood awkwardly in the doorway.

"Enter means you have my permission to come in."

He smiled and shuffled into the room, closing the door softly behind him.

He looked around, and you gestured to the bed, waiting for him to take a seat.

"Why have you come?" You asked.

"I would just like to ask you a few questions if you don't mind. I'd like to get to know you, I like to know all my students." He smiled.

"I am no student of yours."

"Well.. you're not wrong." He laughed nervously.

"No need to be so timid, I am unable to use my quirks and have no interest in harming you."

"Well... that's nice to you..." he muttered.

Toshanori rubbed the back of his nervously before lowering his hands again.

"Well... I just wanted to get to know you better. You're always on your own. I thought maybe some company would be nice."

You nodded your head slowly, closing your book, you placed it on the floor besides you and folded your arm across your chest.

"I am perfectly fine on my own."

"I know you are (Y/N), but I'm just worried for you is all. I don't like seeing you alone."

"I prefer being on my own, it is a personal choice."

Toshanori sighed and nodded his head sadly, standing up from your bed.

"Well, if you want some company I'm here."

You nodded your head and escorted him towards the door.

"Your concern has been noted."

He laughed and left the room, offering your a small wave as you closed the door again, heading back over to your book.

Your eyes scanned through the pages as you read, the soft noise of the TV in the background.

All the other students had classes so you were left in peace, but since you couldn't be alone there was usually someone else in the building with you.

You heard a phone chime and picked yours up, reading the message that had appeared on the screen.

Dabi: where are you? Are you okay? Do you need help? It's been weeks since anyone's seen you...

Sighing heavily you unlocked it and sent a reply.

You: I am fine, where I am is none of your concern. I will let you know should I need anything

You put the phone down but it chimed again.

Dabi: alright then, glad to know you're okay. Is there any chance we could meet up?

You: no. I am being watched

Dabi: I see, just check in when you can then. If you need anything let me know

You: I shall do

With that, you put your phone again and heard voices in the hall making you groan. The students were here which meant you weren't going to get any peace.

There was a knock on your door.

"Enter."

Todoroki came through and placed his bag on the ground.

"Hey, I have some work from Nezu I've been asked to give you."

"How boring, I told him I was not interested."

Todoroki grabbed some papers and set them on your desk, gesturing to a seat next to you.

"May I?"

"I suppose so. Why has he sent you, and not one of those other goons?"

"He said he believes that it would be easier to send myself, Uraraka, Midoriya or Iida. He said it would be best to send me, as you are more than likely to frighten them."

You picked up the papers and started to flicked through them.

"You are not scared of me?"

"No, why would I be?"

"Interesting answer. Also, you can take these ones back."

You handed Todoroki the math papers and set the others down.

"You've got to do them."

"No."

Todoroki flicked his gaze between the papers and your mask hidden face.

"You can't do math?" He asked.

"It is confusing and unnecessary."

He smiled slightly and set them on the desk.

"Would you like me to teach you?"

"I... suppose you could if you want to. I won't stop you."

Todoroki rolled his eyes and grabbed a pencil and a plain sheet of paper, he begun to explain the questions to you, showing you how to answer one before letting you try your own
