Chapter 24

You headed back to the group with Todoroki, and instantly you here wanted a can of soda by someone as they walked past.

"Isn't this great!?" Kirishima asked excitedly.

"I suppose... it's.. okay." You replied.

"(Y/N)! Come on!" Mina shouted as she rushed over.

The girls were all dancing while the boys were rough housing. Jiro came wondering over with Yaoyorozu who both grinned at you.

"Yeah, dance with us." Jiro smiled.

"I suppose I can come over at least."

The girls cheered and ran to walk back besides you was you made your way over to all the girls.

They were all dancing to a song, except they were dancing differently, different styles and different times, but all having just as much fun.

You say down on a towel and looked around, was this what people your age did? Is this what you were supposed to be doing as well?

You sighed and stared straight ahead the final rays of the sun were fading, and the class had started to light sparklers while running around.

"Hey (Y/N)." A soft voice spoke.

Turning to your side, you watched Midoriya as he slowly at with you, holding two unlit sparklers in his hands.

"Hello." You greeted.

"Are you enjoying yourself?" He asked with a wide smile.

You turning away and laid on your back, clasping your hands over your stomach.

"I suppose it is okay. Yes."

"Have you.. ever done anything like this before?"

"No."

Midoriya made a small noise of acknowledgment.

"Would you like to light a sparkler with me?" He asked gently.

You laid there for a few seconds before sitting up, turning your body to face his and you held out your hand.

"Okay then."

"Great!"

He handed you one, then he lit them both, the pair of you just sitting there watching the sparklers.

Slowly, one by one the others came and joined you, all of sitting together talking and relaxing.

Todoroki sat besides you, he took the now dead sparkler from your hand and set it down with his.

"I'm glad you decided to come along." He whispered.

You didn't reply, you just simply sat there, unsure as to what you should say.

"I am too..." you replied quietly, making sure only he could hear.

He smiled at you and joined in a conversation, leaving you to do what you wanted, so you laid back down, eyes focusing up on the dark sky where the stars had begun to shine.

You felt your phone vibrate in your pocket, so you pulled it out and glanced at the notification.

Unknown: here, read this when you're alone.

You frowned, it was a link to something, but you weren't sure what it was.

Glancing around quickly, you clicked on it to read what it was about.

It didn't have a title or anything, but you recognised the UA symbol at the top.

It had your name and your cover name at the top at well, along with a brief description about what you could do.

Frowning, you clicked off it and set your phone aside.

There's no way that was a school file, you weren't enrolled, so what the hell were you just sent?
