Trust me (Todoroki x reader)

Chapter 31

The news was about the recent break in, which you tuned out. Blocking all noise of it until a familiar voice hit your ears.

"Yes, we are aware of who is behind this attack."

You looked up to find Aizawa on the screen. It felt like he was staring directly into your soul.

"I also have a feeling that they are probably watching this right now. (Y/N), Lucio, I'm sorry for what happened. But this doesn't make it right, turn yourselves in before it's too late."

It was like he was pleading, he never said much, but he's eyes said it all. The way he looked into the camera.

"Tsk, we aren't stupid."

You turned to the doorway, to find Lucio stood in some sweats and a large shirt, drying his hair with a towel as he watched the screen.

"Did you find anything?"

You shook your head and tossed him a folder, you picked the other one up, carefully reading its contents.

Fury built up inside you, it told you exactly what they did to your father, and how it went.

Your hands shook, red lightening crackling around them as you tried to calm down. Everything around you seemed so distance, but a voice on the TV that made you look up.

"(Y/N), if you're watching this. Please come back, I believe you were not responsible for what happened here. You are angry, I understand, this is not right though and you know it."

Todoroki wore a soft smile as he held your mask in his hand.

"It took a lot to get them to let me come here, but I had to try. You are a good person, you're just trying to get rid of your pain in the wrong way. If you trust me, I promise everything will be okay." He smiled.

You calmed down a little, lightening no longer circling you. This was something your brother picked up on immediately but said nothing about.

"The two culprits are Lucio and (Y/N) (L/N) unfortunately we don't have facial pictures of either of them. Simply this two which contain the masks they wear. Please be aware if you see them on the streets, or know of their whereabouts call the police or UA straight away."

Lucio scoffed and shook his head, holding his file in one hand.

"Pathetic, they will not get very far."

You simply went back to reading, choosing not to say anything.

Todoroki's words kept running around your head like wild fire. He wanted you to trust him, that's all. As if trust was something people could just throw around.

"Here."

Lucio tossed his file over, catching it you flipped through it to get the the page he marked and began to carefully read it.

"So, he's in a hospital on the outside of the city?"

"Yup. We'll head there in an hour so make sure you are ready."

"Would it not be best to leave him? If he is at hospital clearly he is being treated for something. If we storm the place we could disrupt that."

"For all we know they are doing more tests." Lucio countered.

"We do not know that. It says nothing of the sort."

"Tsk, they won't put everything on paper. Now, stop arguing and be ready for an hour from now."

You simply just nodded letting him walk away.

Turning back to the TV, you found your face still plastered all over the screen while they kept talking about what had gone on and what they know.

You started at the two numbers they had on the screen.

Lucio was filled with bloodlust, you knew he wasn't scared to kill anyone that got in his way.

Not once had you spilled blood, but him, he made sure to do it when you couldn't stop him. God knows how many of he guards he killed back there.

Getting up, you headed towards he window, one goal in mind
