Todoroki stayed there in pure shock.
You were beautiful he had to admit. The one thing that stood out though was the jagged scar going across your nose and under your eyes.
"What happened to you..." he whispered.
Todoroki quickly picked up your mask, and as he went to place it back on your face, his eyes connected with yours and he jumped back.
"(Y/N) I..."
"You've seen..." you whispered.
You sat up, and Todoroki quickly handed the mask back to you.
"I do sorry, I didn't mean to invade your privacy! I was worried and you didn't answer the door."
You avoided his gaze, and he handed the mask back over to you.
"I promise I won't tell anyone."
You nodded your head, this was the first time you had ever been speechless.
"(Y/N), I am really sorry."
"Stop apologising. What's done is done."
He gave you a tiny warm smile.
"You shouldn't hide your scars, I've got one." He pointed to his eye, "it's hard I know but you shouldn't hide them. Everyone in here has a scar or two."
You sighed and connected eyes with him briefly.
"My scars originated from a much different place."
"So do mine."
"Oh?"
"Yeah.. mine were from my mom."
Your eyes widened slightly, and you stared at him.
"Mine was because of my father, but he did not mean it."
"He accidentally gave you a scar like that?"
"Yes, and that is all you need to know."
"Okay, I understand. I am really sorry."
Slipping the mask on your face, you stood up and he did the same time.
"You maybe leave now."
"Okay, if you need to or want to talk about it, you can come to me."
"Leave."
He nodded his head and left the room.
Todoroki headed back to his room and sat down on his head, running hand through his hair.
That was a huge scar, there's no way someone could cause that by accident. There were other scars on your face, a medium one trailing just under your jaw, then there was above your eye brow.
He wanted to ask about them, but he didn't dare. Clearly you didn't want to tell him.
He made a promise he wouldn't tell anyone, so he wasn't going to tell any of the teachers about what he had seen.
He wanted to try and earn your trust, and going behind your back wasn't the way to do that.
You got along with him better than the others, but would this mess everything up? Would you act like you did to the others because he saw your face?
At least he said you could talk to him, maybe one day you'll take him up on that offer who knows.
Laying down on his bed, one arm under his head he stared at his ceiling.
You reminded him of himself in a way.
Only you were walking on a thin line between being a villain or not. One thing could tilt you either way, and that's what worried everyone.
That you would just snap and become a villain, then way would they do?
Because no one stands a chance against your quirk unless Aizawa was there.
Taking a deep breath, he rolled on to his side and closed his eyes, but all he could see was your face, and it made him restless. The face everyone was dying to see, and he had seen it, and it was nothing like what they imagined
