The walk to town didn't take very long, and the place was bustling with people which made you grimace.
"Lets get this over with quickly." You muttered.
"I'll be as quick as possible, I promise."
Todoroki shot you a smile and you both weaved your way in and around groups of people. It was hard and you nearly got lost multiple times.
You both made your way into a small clothing shop in order to get out of the crowd. You collapsed on to a chair in there and crossed your arms.
"This is harder than it looks trying to keep within the distance of the bracelet without loosing each other." Todoroki sighed.
"Then extend the distance." You groaned.
"I can't, only certain people can. I simply just have it linked to my phone."
You leant backwards on the chair and tilted your head back and closed your eyes.
"You would have thought they'd be considerate of two people walking together."
"From what I've seen there's a lot of sales going on, not many people are bothered." He sighed.
You opened your eyes and something caught your eye.
Getting up from the chair you walked around and looked at the pearly white scarf on the manikin.
Taking it off, you walked back around and held it up with one hand.
"I have found a solution, though I severely hate it. However, I do not like the thought of getting fixed up with tranquilliser."
Todoroki stood up and walked a bit closer, looking at you with confusion.
"What are we going to do with that."
Rolling your eyes, you held out your free hand.
"Give me your arm."
He seemed hesitant.
"Just do it."
He finally reached his arm out and you rolled up with sleeve of his jacket.
"It is coming up to autumn, so of course they would sell scarfs. They have more than one use."
While speak, you had tied one end to his wrist and the other end to yours. Lifting your arm up, nodded our head.
"Tie the ends to two people, and they'll be able to make it around crowded places easier."
"Have you done this before?" He asked.
You started to walk to the cashiers desk with the tag for the scarf in your hand.
"Yes, a very long time ago."
"I see." He nodded, "will it work?"
"It should do, people will end up walking in to it and we'll be able to see if the other is missing."
You slapped the price tag on to the cashier desk and she gave you a confused look.
"Tsk, Stop gawking and price the scarf up. We're trying to stick together."
"You could just hold hands." She giggled.
"Do not be so disgusting, I despise human contact and have no relation with this boy at all."
She giggled again and pulled the price up, which Todoroki paid.
"See you later!" She waved.
You growled and marched out of the store, back into the chaos of the mall with Todoroki in tow.
"Take us to your shop then."
"Right, this way."
The pair of you found it easier to get around this way. However sometimes you would find your gaze on the scarf, following it back to Todoroki's arm.
His hand was holding the fabric, his fingers slightly curled in to it.
Taking your eyes away, you idly gazed at the shops as you passed, not speaking a single word.
"Here, this one." He pointed.
You both entered the book store and you followed his as he looked around.
"TODOROKI!" Someone called.
Both of you turned around to see Jiro and Sero entering the store together, followed by Mineta and Kaminari.
"Hello." Todoroki greeted.
"I said no interacting with others.." you whispered.
"I wasn't expecting them here."
You stayed quiet.
"Uhm.. why is there a scarf around your wrists?" Mineta asked.
"So we didn't get lost." Todoroki replied, "(Y/N) thought of it."
Kaminari and Mineta both shared a look and smirked.
"Why not attach it to one of us?" The both said at the same time.
"I have no ties to either of you, I must stay with Todoroki as he is currently in charge of my bracelet."
"Whatever you say~" Mineta teased.
"If you keep speaking I shall kick your tiny body out of the store."
He squeaked and jumped back, the others laughed at this.
"Damn, I need to get lessons from you on how to keep this little perv away." Jiro laughed.
"Step on him, he appears small enough for it."
"Enough." Todoroki warned.
You shot him a glance and huffed, turning away from him.
"Are you looking for textbooks too?" Sero asked.
"Yes, have you seen the ones we need?"
"Actually I was in here not long ago, these guys just wanted to come say hi. All the textbooks are in the far corner." Sero smiled.
Todoroki smiled back and thanked him, leading you over in to the far away corner.
While he browsed he textbooks, you simply just browsed the poetry books that sat next to them. Picking up a few to read the backs then placing them back where they came from.
"Why not buy a few?" Sero asked, "since you don't attend classes it might give you something to do."
"I do not have my card."
He offered you a smile and left, you went back to browsing the different books while you waited.
"I'm finished." Todoroki announced.
You nodded and followed behind him, making your way towards the front of the store behind him while the others stayed behind
