Everyone came back and took a seat with you, flooding the table with conversation, jokes, laughter, drinks and food.
Todoroki softly placed a steaming up in front of you.
"Here, I wasn't sure if you were hungry either."
With that, he set down a plate with a slice of cake on it and a fork.
"This is unnecessary."
He just offered you a smile and took a seat next to you.
Turning your attention back to the window, you chose to ignore everything else around you.
Closing your eyes, you tuned out the world around you, getting lost in your own mind, unaware that the whole table went quiet.
"Is she okay?" Sero whispered.
"I think so." Jiro nodded.
They all looked at you for a little bit longer before going back into their conversations.
The only person who didn't was Todoroki who stayed looking at you for a little while longer before we went back to eating his food.
You came from your head and lifted your mask slightly, making it easier to take a sip of your coffee.
"Is it good?" Todoroki asked.
"It is acceptable, yes."
Everyone laughed at your answer, and you pulled your mask back down.
"It is getting late." You noted.
Although it was a half day, it was autumn and the sun was starting to set earlier. You'd probably been out for a good few hours and it was coming up to dinner time.
"Right, we should get going."
Todoroki picked up his bag and tied the scarf around his wrist again, bidding a goodbye to his friends for the time being.
"See you at home!" Kaminari beamed.
"Yes." You nodded.
You slipped out after Todoroki and the pair of you left the cafe, silently making your way towards the dorm.
The sun's rays were turning gold, as it it had been melted and poured into the sky, lighting up everyone around in a beautiful shimmering light.
The pair of you leisurely walked, the warmth of the sun just hitting you both.
Even after you left the mall, you kept the scarf tied around the pair of you, both of you seemingly to have forgotten about it.
"I have a request if I may?" You asked.
"Sure, what is it?"
You turned to Todoroki, stopping as you looked at him. The sun lit his multicoloured eyes even more, reflecting off them giving them a warm and welcoming hue.
You opened your mouth but closed it again.
Turning back to face forward, you could see the light reflecting of the water, sending little ripples back into the sky.
"It is nothing."
"Alright."
Todoroki started walking first and you followed, your eyes catching a glimpse of the scarf around his wrist.
Shaking your head, you carried in walking, keeping your eyes glued to the water shimmering ahead, fingers lightly clutching the white fabric as you headed home.
It took a bit longer to get there since you weren't going as fast, but when you got in, you both headed to the couch.
"Hey, what's that?" Uraraka asked.
"It's a scarf." Todoroki replied, "it's so we didn't get separated."
"That makes sense (Y/N) can't go to far." Midoriya nodded.
You untied your end of the scarf and handed it to Todoroki with a small nod of your head.
"Here, it is yours."
"You're back. I'll change your bracelet hold on." Aizawa said walking in.
It didn't take long and when he was done he let you know.
"I will be going now."
With that you made your way back to your room, closing the door softly behind you as you turned on the TV for some background noise.
Picking up a book, you sat by the windowsill and begun to read, letting the noise leave wash over as evening melted away into night.
A soft knock brought you out of your own world. You set the book down and turned to the door.
"Enter."
Todoroki came in, a bag in hand and closed he door, walking over to you with a smile on his face.
"These are yours, here."
Curious, you carefully took the bag and looked inside, it was the books you were looking at in the shop.
"You brought me books? Why?"
"I thought you'd like them, the others helped."
"It is a waste of your money."
"It doesn't bother me."
"I see.." you muttered.
Setting the bag down, you looked away and sighed a little.
"I... appreciate it.." you whispered.
Todoroki's eyes widened a little, that was the first time he'd ever heard you be so polite. His shock quickly melted away though and he gave you a soft smile.
"You're welcome, if you need anything else let me know."
With that, he left you sitting there alone
