I was holding our 1/4 sheet of papers in my hand as I deliberately argued inside my head on where I should eat at lunch. I shouldn't be frustrated right now, if only Gale and Maica appeared today, but they didn't. I could pass Gale's alibi though why she can't attend school, she have decided to visit an optometrist for her eyes after what happened on Saturday. But Maica on the other hand, she just texted me to cover up for her in our today's short exam cause she has a hungover. I can't believe that girl, and I also can't believe myself because I politely followed what she had told me to do.

"Okay class, passed your papers and you may take your lunch now," our teacher eyed us from her glasses and said.

We all almost stood up in unison as my classmates leave their papers on her table, since they were crowding in front, I called Arthur instead, our class mayor. He was tall and has a very serious face but don't be fool cause he wasn't.

"Arthur, can you pass ours as well? Thank you."

I beamed at him when he accepted my papers. I quickly turned and grabbed my backpack as I bee-lined my walk to the door, our last class in the morning was held at the second floor that was why I have to walk longer to the cafeteria for lunch. Yeah, I have decided to eat inside the campus since I have nobody with me if I eat at the mall. I was on the staircase when I heard my name booming from the distance, I rose my head and I saw Arthur sauntered on where I stood at.

"I was calling for you since ages and you didn't even stop," he said as he cope up with his breathing.

"I'm sorry, I didn't hear you. Are you alright?" I asked him worriedly, he nodded his head and smiled at me. "Why were you calling me by the way?"

"Did you just write for Gale and Maica earlier in the short exam?"

"Y-yeah? W-why?" I stuttered.

His tone was very concerning as if there was something secret he wanted to tell me but he doesn't know how to. He did not respond but his smile slowly turned into an awkward one. My mouth suddenly formed into an 'O' when everything dawned to me.

"Oh my god! Did I just cheat?!" I yelled at him, full of shock.

"Kind of? But that's okay-"

"I can't believe it, Maica fooled me. She said it's okay since it was just a summative test," I said and grasped my hair on the side of my head.

Arthur suddenly burst into laughter, I furrowed.

"What's funny?" I asked, I could sense the frustration in my tone. "Am I going to be expelled?"

"No, of course not," he said quickly when I exaggerated. "I'm sure Mrs. Escabarte won't even notice it. By the way, do you want to go with us lunch?"

"I'll definitely Kill that girl when I see her later," I talked to myself as I fisted.

"So do you want to come with us?" Arthur asked as he bit his lower lip to suppress his chuckles.

"What was your question again?" I mused.

"I'm asking you if you wanted to join in our lunch since you're friends aren't here," he said, placing his hands in his side pockets.

"Of course, I would love to join in your group!"

I clasped my hands chirpily and grabbed his right arm. He eyed me from his side as I stared at him smiling.

"Take me away from here," I whispered to his ear.

He returned my smile and he slowly shook his head.
