"Ouch!! Stop it Kevin, you're hurting me!" Maica hissed as she swatted my hands from her arms. "I already made my apology earlier, wasn't that enough?"

I stomped my feet on the red, twinkling floor.

"I just can't believe you fooled me yesterday and I also can't believe I let you fooled me. I am so embarrassed to myself," I whined, covering my face with my palms.

"You're embarrassed because I fooled you or you're embarrassed because Mayor (Arthur) saw your dumbness?" she teased me with her knowing eyes.

I quickly rolled my eyes from her statement, when I told them this morning about what happened to me yesterday, with Arthur's circle of friends. Maica decisively jumped into making her own conclusion that I was flirting.

"Maica, just please, stop it. I don't like Arthur, okay? And he doesn't like me. I don't like anyone," I suddenly lowered my voice when I finished my last sentence.

"Whatever, but I think he likes you too---"

With a snap, I brought my hand in my ear, protecting my eardrum from her ridiculous thoughts. I quickly grasped Gale's forearm, she jolted however she was quick to recover and I dragged her down with me to the cafeteria for our lunch.

"Kev, Gale! Hey! Wait for me bitches!" Maica yelled from behind us.

I did not listen to her and we sauntered straight to the door to our food. I suddenly halted from walking when I spotted clean hair cut students lining up in front, choosing for their food.

"Kevin, are we not going to sit? Where holding some people in here," Gale scolded me from her eyeglasses.

I stared at her eyes and I saw my reflection instead from her clean lenses. It was still odd for me to look at her with a paraphernalia in her sight. I took the lump in my throat when I spoke up again.

"Let's eat in the mall? Let's go!"

I did not wait for her response and I dragged her back again outside. She did not protest but she just followed my steps. I could feel my palm on her skin become sweaty. I did not even see Gorio there but my body was reacting exaggeratedly.

"Wait! Where are you going, ladies?"

We finally crossed paths with Maica and I quickly told her that change of plans.

"But Kevin, we only have 1 hour left to eat for our lunch. We will be late if we will leave from the Campus," Maica told me before I regret my decision however, there will be no way I'll remorse this after I saw the flock of people eating there.

There was a higher probability that Gorio will also eat there since some of his Avatar friends were already there.

"I'll treat you both for lunch---"

"Okay, let's go!"

She did not let me finish my sentence and she dragged us both Gale outside from the campus. I smirked, I really know how to switched her buttons.

"Are you sure that's all you have for lunch? Girl, you're killing yourself," Maica murmured as she chewed her food in her mouth.

I just looked at her, and make my sipping from my straw louder.

"Gale, scold him since you're the eldest in our group." Maica nudged her on the side and she jolted.

"S-sorry, I wasn't listening. What were you asking again?" Gale said, pushing her eyeglasses to her nose.

I halted slurping my milk tea and stared at her intensely. Gale was kind of off since this morning, she was a little quiet, I saw her earlier in a trance during our classes, I think she was thinking very deeply. I leaned on the table and placed my palm above hers.
