The Story Of Us

Prologue

This is my 3rd or 4th story in Wattpad and just like the other stories that I have made, this is not perfect as well soooooo, please excuse me haha.

My head was on his lap as we play our favorite game together, Mobile Legends when he suddenly spilled a joke.

"I like you, Kev."

I suppressed my laugh by biting my lips' inside.

"Ya, I know. Like you just told me that a while ago."

"I'm serious," he said.

I did not respond and continue my focus in the game, seconds had passed and he was still staring at me intently. My eyes drifted towards his tanned face, our eyes met and I could see his expression telling me there was no humour in it. I quickly sat on the couch and faced him.

"Are you kidding me?"

"No," he snapped.

"H-how?" I stuttered.

*YOU HAVE BEEN KILLED*

He ran his hands to his hair as if it was long that bothered his face.

"I don't know," he said frustratedly.

"What? Gorio, you can't say words like that, it can't be possible." I scowled.

"Why? Because you're gay?" he snapped, directly looking at me.

"Yes," I told him in a stern tone.

"I don't believe you, is it because you liked someone else?"

"What? No-"

"Then why you can't liked me?"

"I-I..." I was lost of words when he attempted to reach for my hands in my lap, I quickly avoided his touch. I stood up from the couch.

"Let's just play again when your foolishness dies down."

I didn't looked back and ran my way upstairs to my room. I heard him called my name in his pleading tone but I didn't look back. I opened my bathroom and leaned on the door after I closed it. I did not notice I was holding my breath on the way here. I saw myself in the mirror, panting, blushing and smiling.

"He likes me?"

"He likes me," I said declaratively like it was a fact.

I covered my face in my palms as I repeat those words. I keep repeating those words until tears suddenly streamed down to my cheeks. I was crying.

"He likes me."

I cried as I drifted to the floor and balled.
