"(Y/n)!!!"

Hanji's exuberant shout preceded a tackle hug that enveloped (Y/n) completely. Hanji's arms wrapped around (Y/n)'s head, pulling her close in an affectionate, almost motherly embrace. However, it was clear Hanji's enthusiasm was more playful than maternal. (Y/n)'s words came out muffled as she tried to respond, prompting Hanji to finally let go.

"It's nice to see you too, Hanji," (Y/n) said, slightly disheveled but smiling. "So, everyone's still in classes right now?"

"Yup, they won't be out for another two hours," Hanji confirmed. Just then, Levi emerged from the master bedroom, having finished unpacking his bag. He made his way to the living room couch and sat down, looking relaxed.

(Y/n) and Hanji joined him, with (Y/n) settling comfortably between Levi and Hanji. The living room felt cozy and inviting, a stark contrast to the bustling energy Hanji brought with her.

"Has anything changed since we left?" (Y/n) asked, eager to catch up.

Hanji's eyes sparkled behind her glasses, her enthusiasm palpable. She clasped her hands together, and the lenses of her glasses caught the light, making them gleam. "Oho, you have no idea! Should I go in alphabetical order?" she asked with a playful grin.

(Y/n) chuckled, her curiosity piqued. "Go for it."

"I doubt much has changed since we left...don't expect too much, (Y/n)," Levi said with a hint of cockiness.

"'A'! So, Annie and Bertholdt are dating now!" Hanji started, a grin spreading across her face. "And that concludes the letter 'B,' I think."

(Y/n)'s eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Oh, that's amazing! Good for them!" she exclaimed, genuinely excited.

"Absolutely! And Armin? He's a student teacher at Shiganshina Middle School!"

(Y/n) winced. "That poor soul. Middle school students are terrifying..."

"Oh, I know. Moblit and I even made a bet that he'd end up at Maria High instead. Armin's already got horror stories from his time there!" Hanji said with a chuckle, while (Y/n) pouted sympathetically for him.

"As for 'C'... Oh! Connie and Sasha are no longer together," Hanji said nonchalantly.

(Y/n)'s jaw dropped. "W-W-What happened!?"

Hanji shrugged. "They haven't said why. But they don't act weird around each other at all. In fact, it's like they never dated. So, I guess the breakup was mutual."

"Better than him proposing to her like he wanted to last year," Levi muttered.

"Now for 'E'... Eren! His hair has grown out a lot, and he changed his major. He's now going to be focusing on sports."

"Woah, what?! No way, what sport?"

"Soccer!" Hanji exclaimed.

'Well, he was always good at kicking things,' (Y/n) thought, recalling how he once kicked the bejeebees out of one of her bullies in middle school.

"And~ Erwin got a girlfriend! He said he'll introduce her when she's available. She runs her own business called 'Eldia,' a clothing store."

"About damn time," Levi said.

"Now, 'F'! Furlan also recently got a girlfriend," Hanji said next.

Levi's brows shot up. "Hm, didn't see that one coming," he said, getting up to make tea.

"Who is he dating?" (Y/n) asked.

"A cute girl from the countryside, Mina Carolina."

(Y/n) perked up. "She's in my class!"
