Wednesday, April 10th, XXXX - 6:15am

(Y/n) stood outside Sasha's dorm room, arms folded, her foot tapping rhythmically against the linoleum floor. A pensive frown creased her brow as she mulled over her intentions.

'Should I ask her today? It's our first time hanging out in ages... Maybe I should wait. But Sasha's open about these things, right?' She sighed deeply, her knuckles rapping softly against the wooden door.

The night before, (Y/n) had casually invited Sasha for donuts and coffee before their 8:20 AM classes, a seemingly innocent proposal to which Sasha had eagerly agreed. However, beneath the surface, (Y/n) harbored a deeper curiosity—she was anxious to unravel the details of Sasha's recent breakup with Connie.

The very thought of 'breakup' in the same sentence as Sasha and Connie gnawed at her. In her eyes, they had been a picture-perfect match.

Sounds of scrambling came from the other side of the door just before it swung open. Sasha appeared, hurriedly pulling down her cook's white button-up shirt over black pants, her burgundy hair tied back in a high ponytail—a requirement for all female culinary students with hair touching their shoulders.

"G'Mornin'!" Sasha beamed, her eyes twinkling with a mix of sleepiness and excitement.

(Y/n) couldn't help but smile back. "Good morning, Sasha! Seems like you're really geared up for those donuts."

"You have no idea! So, where are we heading this morning?" Sasha asked, her head tilting with curiosity as she grabbed her things, letting (Y/n) step inside the cluttered dorm room.

"We're hitting up Moonbucks first—I'm craving a (Preferred Beverage), and then we're off to Buck Donuts," (Y/n) replied, watching Sasha's reaction closely.

Sasha's face lit up like a child's on Christmas morning. "Buck Donuts? Really?!"

"Yes, now come on, I'm starving!" (Y/n) laughed, her spirits lifted by Sasha's enthusiasm.

Sasha slung her backpack over her shoulder, pausing as a thought struck her. "Wait, didn't Levi make you breakfast today?"

"He had an early class," (Y/n) explained, feeling a twinge of guilt as she remembered her ulterior motive. "That's why I texted you last night. I figured we could catch up over breakfast."

Sasha's smile softened, her gratitude evident. "I'm really glad you thought of me. Thanks, (Y/n)."

The sincerity in Sasha's smile tugged at (Y/n)'s conscience, dampening her initial curiosity about the breakup. 'Maybe I should just enjoy our time together and not pry,' she considered, her resolve waning.

Sasha, ever the bundle of energy, opened the door wide with a dramatic flourish. "Well, what are you waiting for? Let's gooooo!" she sang, her voice echoing down the hallway.

Rolling her eyes playfully, (Y/n) followed, her earlier reservations momentarily forgotten. "Alright, alright, keep your hairnet on! I'm coming!"

~~~~~~A Crazy Motorcycle Ride Later~~~~~~
After a breezy motorcycle ride to the university, (Y/n) and Sasha settled on a bench outside the school building, surrounded by the hum of campus life as they savored their breakfast. Sasha had indulged in a dozen donuts of various kinds, and (Y/n) had her stash safely tucked into her jacket to avoid any mishaps.
"Thank goodness, they're all intact. You drive like a maniac," Sasha said with a relieved sigh, eyeing her precious box of donuts.
"Pfft, I drive perfectly! You're just a challenging passenger," (Y/n) retorted playfully, giving Sasha a gentle shove.
