Another staff day, another day for the two couple to relax.
With everything surpassed, and Armin forgiven, everything felt right with the world again. Unfortunately, no one knows the whereabouts of Bertholdt. A few believe he may have dropped out, and left. Or, he switched to a different university. Whatever it may be, (Y/n) was genuinely worried for him.
She couldn't help but feel slight sympathy for him. Of course, he wasn't good to Annie and that can't go unpunished, but it was harsh the way the relationship had to end.
Makes one's head hurt thinking of scenarios that could've gone better. But, it's all said and done now.
Moving on!
Today is a nice day for the couple to go on a date tonight. And that is what they insisted, together, on doing. They also thought it was the right time to discuss how they personally felt about the pregnancy.
Currently, (Y/n) was awaiting Levi's return from taking Bruce out to the dog park. Whilst waiting, she had busied herself with experimenting in the kitchen.
She was attempting to make an Oreo milkshake.
Her ingredients; Eight Oreos, milk, and some crushed ice to substitute for the lack of Vanilla ice-cream in their freezer. She already had a feeling that the ice would send the experiment south, but it was worth a try.
She put the milk in first-
"Fuck!"
She spilt a lot of milk.
After she cleaned most of it up, she then put in the eight Oreos. Then, she had a second thought on whether it was enough or not.
Yeah...better to add four more just to be safe.
With a triumphant grin, she then added the 1 1/2 cup of crushed ice into the powdered blue blender. "Alright, the moment we've all been waiting for-well...just me." She spoke to herself.
She internally counted down from three, and pushed the 'on' button. She watched as the ingredients she concocted together got blended. After a minute, she turned the blender off and inspected the aftermath.
The liquid inside had turned into a light, muddy brown. And bits of white, presumably the cream from inside the Oreos, were apparent.
She made a grotesque expression, but felt that it was too early to judge.
She got a small cup, and poured the 'milkshake' inside. She then brought the cup to her lips, and drank some.
She wanted to puke.
"That DIY Pinterest recipe lied!!"
The milkshake, the monstrosity, tasted like watered down Oreo milk. Lacked any sweet flavoring to it. Disgruntled, she poured the failed experiment down the kitchen sink.
"Damn. I'm the wife. You'd think I'd easily make shit without it tasting like shit..." She sullenly talked to herself. She decided to settle with a small snack of string cheese and walked herself to the living-room couch.
She plopped herself down on the black leather seat on the right of the sofa, letting her body lean on the arm of the couch. She looked out the clear glass sliding door to the balcony, staring at the cloudless, azure sky. She didn't notice it, but a small smile crept itself on her lips.
'This is nice.' She thought.
She looked down at her stomach, still shocked every time she remembered...she was pregnant.
