Sunday, April 13th, XXXX
Greetings, lovely readers! This is your narrator speaking. Are you having a wonderful day? I hope so, because you deserve it. If not, may it get better soon.
On this delightful Sunday, (Y/n) is embarking on her very first day at "Eldia," having her photos taken. Levi is, of course, present to witness this special moment for his inexplicably gorgeous wife. But one might wonder: "what are the others up to?"
The Supermarket
Sasha, Jean, Marco, and Connie were grocery shopping together, seizing the last day of the weekend to stock up before classes resumed the next day. They figured tackling this chore as a group might distract them from the guilt of their procrastination. The quartet found themselves in the produce section, handheld baskets in tow, hunting for the ingredients they needed for upcoming meals.
"So, for whatever dish you want to make, you need to shop primarily for the ingredients it requires. Once you've done that, then you can shop for any last-minute 'wants' or 'needs'," Marco explained to Jean, gesturing to his meticulously organized shopping list.
"Ohhh... So that's why Mom had us all over the store that one time—you mean to tell me there's been an order to this shopping thing the whole time?" Jean asked, his brows knitted together in realization.
"Um... yeah? Not like you would have noticed since I do most of the grocery shopping," Marco retorted with a hint of sass.
"D-Don't say that too loud or we'll sound like we're... together," Jean muttered, glancing around nervously.
"Wh—Seriously—Jean, what is fruity about shopping for food to survive?" Marco asked, genuinely perplexed.
Jean rolled his eyes. "Nothing. But... y'know, guys shopping together is just... y'know..." He awkwardly stuffed his hands into his pockets, swaying side to side.
"Well, Jean, you have nothing to worry about. We have Sasha with us," Marco pointed out, nodding toward Sasha and Connie. The two were ogling the vegetables being misted to preserve their freshness, stars practically shining in their eyes.
"Hey, do you two need anything while we're here in the produce section?" Marco called over to them.
Sasha glanced back, then rummaged through her purse for her grocery list. Connie patted his pockets, only to realize he'd left his list at home.
"Uh... Connie?" Sasha looked at him with concern.
"Heh, don't worry. I remember most of what I need. I think..." he said thoughtfully.
Jean pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed in exasperation. Taking a deep breath, he clapped his hands lightly. "Here's an idea: how about the four of us shop for what we need separately and then meet back here in the produce section when we're done?" he proposed.
They exchanged glances and silently came to an agreement, nodding their heads.
"I'm down," Connie declared.
"I need lady products anyway, so I could use... well, not you guys around when I get them," Sasha added with a chuckle.
Marco grinned. "Then it's settled! We'll meet back here after we've completed our lists. And Connie... good luck."
"For what?" Connie asked, scratching the inside of his ear.
"Riiiiight..." Jean murmured as he was the first to depart from the group, followed by Marco and then Sasha.
Left alone, Connie stood in the same spot, trying to recall what he was supposed to buy. Since Eren was his roommate and did most of the cooking—for the safety of all residents in the male dormitory—Connie decided to shop for items he and Eren could stock up on instead. With that thought, he headed straight to the candy aisle.
