Saturday arrived bringing with it a torrential downpour of rain. The lead grey sky hung low and oppressive. It seemed as though the sun had finally given up the fight for ownership of the sky. Tasha sighed heavily, her plan to sit in the garden with a good book was now ruined.
"Tasha dear, phone call," her grandmother said poking her head round the bedroom door. Tasha frowned at her mobile, surely any of her mates would have rung that not the landline. Confused she headed downstairs and picked up the receiver.
"Hello."
"Hi Tasha?" a voice stuttered on the other end, a male voice.
"Yes." still confused.
"It's Cal, from college."
"Oh, hi Cal!" Tasha said brightly, her heart suddenly tripling in speed. Why was he phoning her?
"You..um.. Never gave me the details for tonight, and I just wanted to check whether it was still okay for me to come?" Cal said quickly.
"Oh my God! I'm so sorry, I'm really forgetful sometimes! Can you meet us outside Club HD, about 9:00 o'clock?" Tasha gushed, relived he couldn't see her rapidly reddening face.
"Sure, I'll see you then."
"Bye" they both said at the same time. Giggling she hung up suddenly on top of the world, despite the weather.

Cal smiled to himself, calling her and being 'Mr Insecure' definitely worked, hopefully she would pay him a bit more attention tonight if she thought he was sensitive.
"You think you'll get into her knickers tonight don't you? You smug bastard," Marcus laughed. Cal laughed too and winked at his best mate, because he couldn't admit that he really wanted to spend time with this one. His own mobile whistled at him and picking it up he swiped the screen, a message from Cassandra.
Need you at the manor ASAP.
"Great!"
"What?"
"Cassandra," Cal merely said, and they were off.

Sarah threw yet another outfit onto the bed. "Well, what about this one?"
Tasha reached over and inspected the ensemble Sarah had chosen. A pair of black hot pants and a black vest top, which was adorned with silver skulls and blood red roses, the back was a multitude of slashes. "Oooh, I like that one," Tasha said grateful for her best friends help, and her clothes.
"You can wear black tights if you want, and your cherry red DMs," Sarah said flopping down onto the now empty bed. Tasha scooped up the remaining clothes and dumped them onto the already teetering pile on her dresser chair. "So tell me," Sarah said conspiratorially. "What's this Cal like?" She sat up cross legged on the bed and Tasha plonked herself down at the other end.
"Omg! He is gorgeous!! Average height, but that is the only thing that is average about him," Tasha sighed, picturing Cal's tight fitting t-shirts and the way his body may look beneath them.
"You hope," Sarah said wiggling her little finger. Tasha gasped in mock horror and flung a cushion at her.
"He's amazing! He's well built and has the bluest eyes I've ever seen. He's just got this air about him, Sarah."
