Dean walked toward where he thought was home, the world being discolored making navigation a little hard.
He walked up to his house after what seemed an eternity, a wave of relief washing over him. Then he saw a gold light emanating from his window, remembering Erebus.
He slowly opened the door, looking in the kitchen to see orange sigils on the walls. The table and chairs were scattered around the room, the room destroyed.
As he walked up the stairs, the book in Dean's jacket began to feel warm against his chest. The stairs broken and splintered, he walked up holding the rail.
Dean heard a deep growling coming from his room, the door off its hinges. A lot of orange sigils were laid around the doorframe. As he walked into the room, the first thing he noticed was Pyne standing where his bed used to be.
The second thing he noticed was his mother, laying on the floor.
Dean rushes into the room to her. Still breathing there was a deep black bite mark on her arm, looking infected.
Pyne swung the case around in his jaw, throwing it against the wall. Noticing Dean, it let out a low growl and began to walk toward him.
The book in Dean's pocket burned against his chest, pulling it out to see the pages shining gold.
The book flew open, the images on the page moving around. The submission spell he used last time fell onto the pages, shining brightly.
Dean started to move his fingers in a way he had never done before, feeling lightheaded as his eyes flared gold and his hands purple.
Pyne froze as he started to glow purple. Dean waved his hands, and Pyne flew against the wall, a whimper heard.
'Grab the staff' Dean hears a loud voice coming from his head.
Dean runs over to the metal case, broken and open on one side. He picks it up, his head reeling. The stick is starting to glow with gold writing under its surface. Dean's eyes held a steady gold light as he looked upon Pyne.
Dean waved the staff, the whole world around him shifting. Warping around Pyne, the desk and bed slam into the beast.
A raw power came from Dean, and he waves the wand again, lifting Pyne off the floor and out the window. The glass breaking, it froze in the air.
Dean looked down at his mom, the staff telling him what happened to her. He pressed the glowing wand against her wound, healing it with intense concentration.
His head throbbing, the staff slowly faded back to black. He closed his eyes, dropping the obsidian stick onto the floor.
Dean falls to his knee as a figure in a brown robe with silver engravings walks into the room.
Feeling too weak to fight, he watched as they walked toward him. Taking off their hood, he recognizes the girl.
It was Artemis, the lady that fought with Erebus and Malik the other day.
"I felt your power from the Seen realm, " She says, bending down beside him.
"I'm a little tired, " Dean says on his knees. She holds her hand out, a little bit of silver energy flowing off her hand.
Dean grabs her hand; his fatigue fading. He jumped up off the ground, looking at her.
Hair of red and eyes shining silver, she held a stern look on her face.
"How did you get into this part of the Unseen?" Artemis says.
Dean remembered the cafe and cringed in fear.
She nodded in acknowledgment. "Having Erebus's fowl energy around you in the Seen, you must have encountered one of his creations."
He nodded and looked over at his mother. She was unconscious, but she was healed.
Artemis's energy flared around her for a second, and then two men in brown robes walk in through the door.
"They will take care of her, " she says.
"Come to our base, " walking toward the door, "you'll see just how horrid Erebus's creatures genuinely are."
Dean picked up the Obsidian staff and stuffed it into his back pocket, the black book in his jacket pocket.
Dean followed Artemis down the stairs, followed by the monks carrying his mother. They walked out of the house to a giant silver hawk and two horses.
Dean looked on in surprise, as even out of this world covered in darkness, it was way out of the ordinary to see horses in front of his house, let alone a giant bird.
Artemis gracefully jumped up onto the hawk, holding her hand out to Dean.
Dean looks back at his mom, who was being placed on one of the horse.
"Where are you going to take her?" he says with worry.
"They are taking her to the nearest tunnel to our base, we will follow them, and I want to show you this realm," Artemis says in a grave tone, the two men nodding at her.
Dean takes her hand and lifts himself up onto the back of the hawk.
The hawk lifts into the air and the men mount their horses.
Dean watches as the men go down the road on their horses, trotting through his everyday journey from above.
They turn at the end of the street, gaining a little speed as auras of light yellow and blue start coming off them.
The vear off into a tunnel
As they traveled the city, Dean looked from above, observing the world everyone had been referring to as the Unseen, looking at how dark and empty it looked."This is the world created under the world," Artemis yells from in front of him, "One of the lower realms on Yggdrasil, only people who have magical talent can fall into this realm."
"I heard something about clans," he says, pulling the red card out of his pocket. Artemis grabs the card and lets it go, letting it fly away.
"That's for people who fall prey to their inner other world counterparts," she says, her silver silver eyes blazing.
"They fall into crime and violence even in a world so silent and empty," she says, "If their magic is a specific color or affiliation they are placed under strict regime in structured gang wars."
Dean remembers back to how the Salom had been chasing the green car. He hadn't thought about what happened when they caught him.
In what looked like the center of the city, a deep blue light emanated. As they flew closer to it, Dean noticed the light was coming from one of the middle floors of the Empire State Building.
"King Blue runs this section of the Unseen, " Artemis says, the wind blowing her hair back.
"He made a deal with Erebus so he would have immunity from his fowl creatures, " they flew down closer to the ground, seeing men and woman with auras of blue and green battling.
Dean watched in horror as they killed each other. Just as they began to fly away, Dean heard a terrifying roar.
A giant monster made of black plasma and iron comes from between two buildings, grabbing the nearest person next to it.
They flew away, Dean holding on tighter to the hawk.
"That is one of the monsters Erebus created from the Abyss, " Artemis says with a stern voice, "More and more are appearing now that he is in physical form."
They near a down run warehouse, passing through a barrier that shimmered silver as they passed through.
They landed in the parking lot, Dean hopping off the hawk with a stumble.
Artemis jumps gracefully from the bird, placing her head on its beak.
"We have a lot to discuss, " Artemis says calmly.
She starts walking toward the warehouse, and as Dean followed, he wondered how horrifying Erebus was to make those creations.
