Artemis walked through a small doorway on the side of the building, Dean following her through the boarded up door.
Sigils of silver flared as Artemis waved her hand around the room, a cloak falling to reveal many civilians.
The two people closest to us, dressed as monks, rushed to Artemis.
"The Moon Goddess is back," the monk's voice waking up the people around.
Slowly they began to gather around the Goddess, and with a deep breath, sent out a silver aura that calmed and healed the people around.
"Where are my handmaidens?" Artemis asked as the monks take off her cloak. She walks through the crowd touching them all with a light tap on the head. Dean walked around the crowd, watching them receive blessings from Artemis.
"Who are all these people, "Dean says, looking out at all the women and children sitting on mats placed on the floor.
"These are the souls without power that got pulled into the Unseen," Artemis says, stopping to touch the forehead of a girl who looked no more than five years old, silver light washing over her, healing her mangled leg.
Artemis walked up to one man sitting against the wall. He sat there near death, with eyes filmed over with silver. Silver droplets fell from his eyes as Artemis grew closer.
She rests her hand on his forehead, his eyes closing and inhaling deeply. The blood under his skin began to flow again, rejuvenating the man.
With a deep sigh, he leaned against the wall. "Took you long enough," he says.
"Where are my handmaidens?" Artemis asks, looking at the man in dismay.
"Two went to get food for all these fools," he says in a loud enough voice for the others to back away. "And another went to go look for you."
He stood up, and his silver eyes flared as he looked at Dean.
"Who do we have here?" the man says with a twitch of his head.
"This is Apep's master," Artemis says, walking into a side room followed by the man. Dean walked through the doorway, looking back at the many people in rags. Their eyes all twinkling with silver.
The room's inside was what looked like an altar; the energy radiating from the table making Dean dizzy.
Artemis dips her hands in water as the man closes the door, Dean standing far back from the table.
Dean's eyes fall on a bright silver talisman hanging from a statue of the moon. The way it glistened in the candlelight memorized him.
Specks of silver and gold shone off the necklace, light-reflecting a constellation on the statue.Artemis picked the necklace up from off the altar and placed it around her neck. Muttering under her breath her eyes shined silver for a moment with a deep inhale.
Artemis stood in front of the altar, her eyes a gentle silver. She ran her hand over a bowl in the center of the table, red liquid inside. Dipping her fingertip in the liquid, she beckoned Dean over.
Dean walked over to her and felt the need to kneel. He felt like he was in a trance, the light reflecting off the necklace mesmerizing him further as he got closer.
Artemis traced the symbol of a cross on Dean's forehead, his eyes flaring dark purple. He felt a deep hatred within him rage foreword, Erebus's face in his mind.
Artemis picked up a silver chain off the table and placed it around Deans neck. He feels the energy fade back down within him.
"Your magic is linked to Erebus's," Artemis says, picking a silver mirror up from off the table.
