Chapter 12

Jungkook knocks on the door to Jimin's bathroom, since the door is locked and Taylor Swift is blasting from his phone, a faint whiff of perfume in the air.

"Are you... busy? I need help.".

"You can come in!". Jimin calls, lowering the volume.

"Uh, the door is locked.".

"Pick it. Both my hands are busy right now.".

"I'll just... wait until you're done.".

"Let me just do my eyeliner, then I'm done. I'll be right out.".

Jungkook waits another minute, then the door opens, and Jimin pulls him in.

"What do you need help with?".

"Well, it's my first party and I was wondering-".

"Do you need a flask? Slutty clothes? Sex tips?".

Jungkook coughs.

"Didn't think of that yet. Makeup. I wanted to try it.".

"Ooh!". Jimin squeals with excitement, and locks the door again. "What do you want to try?".

"I don't actually know.".

"Okay, what vibe are you going for? Cute and innocent? Bad boy? Mysterious and sexy?".

"Uh...".

"Do you know what you're wearing?" .

"Also, no.".

"That's fine. Take anything from my closet.".

"Is there, like, a dress code?".

"It's a New Year party, Kook. So not an official one, but wear something slutty, I guess. Like mine. Take whatever you want from my closet.".

Jungkook nods slowly, taking in Jimin's fishnets, short black skirt, fishnet gloves and black crop top, complete with cross earrings, a choker, smokey eyeshadow, eyeliner and a small cross drawn under his eye, making him look like an anime character.

"I can take anything?".

"Of course. Unless you're thinking of stealing my limited edition Chanel sweater, I'll kill you in that case.".

Jungkook nods.

"Noted.".

"Tell me what you want for your makeup, too, and if you need help with your outfit, tell me. Do you have any references?".

"Didn't really plan that far ahead, no.".

"I'll help, in that case.".

Jungkook unlocks the door, and Jimin pauses his music as Jungkook opens his closet.

"So, what do you want? Dress pants? Jeans? A skirt? A dress?" .

"Actually... I've never really tried wearing, like... y'know, feminine clothes." .

"Do you want to?".

Jungkook shrugs.

"I don't know if I could actually pull it off.".

"You totally could. Anyone can.". Jimin smiles and scans the racks, then turns back at Jungkook. "What color? Or just a vibe you're going for?".

"I kind of wanna try fishnets, if you have another pair.".

"Of course I do. I have a black skirt with chains I think you'd like, too. And I'll assume you're wearing your Docs?".

Jungkook laughs.
