Jungkook’s surprised by how smoothly the whole week goes. It’s probably thanks to Jimin, who threatens anyone that comes just a little too close to him.
The material isn’t too hard either, again, thanks to Jimin, who offers to help him whenever they have homework. Jimin’s entire friend group dotes on Jungkook and acts as if he’s the cutest, most precious thing they’ve ever seen. All because he’s the youngest.
On Saturday, Jimin opens the door to Jungkook’s room at nine in the morning, saying something about breakfast.
“Let me sleep.”. Jungkook complains.
“It’s nine.”.
“Exactly.”.
Jimin smiles to himself, then opens the curtains, scanning the room.
“How are you so neat?”.
“How are you so messy?”.
“It’s called having too many things that you don’t want to get rid of.”.
“That’s just hoarding. Ugh, rich people.”.
Jimin laughs softly.
“Get up. Let’s do something fun today.”.
“I have homework to do.”.
“You have all day tomorrow. You’re lucky you missed all the tests the past weeks. We have nothing to study for.”.
“That doesn’t change the fact that I have homework.”.
Jimin ignores him, and climbs into the bed, sitting next to him.
“We’re just friends.”. he adds, somewhat obnoxiously, as he pulls the blanket over them.
“Will you please forget that?”.
“Only if you say otherwise.”.
Jungkook sighs, turning around to face him.
“Whatever. What do you want to do, then?”.
“I don’t know. Let’s go shopping again. I’ll buy you a watch.”.
“Hard pass.”.
“What do you want to do, then?”.
Jungkook shrugs.
“We’ll see. We can go later, at night. I know some nice places. Good food. I owe you, after all.”.
At that moment, Jimin’s phone rings, and he picks up, looking annoyed.
“What is it?”. He pauses, then groans. “I’m busy today. No, I don’t want to go to the meeting… Yes, I know I need to be more responsible… … Uh-huh, I know who’s gonna be there. But I don’t care.”.
