Chapter 18

As Jungkook watches Jimin change, he can't help but feel bad that Jimin always leaves the house when his father is home, but at least they have an excuse to go out today.

"Where do you wanna go?". Jungkook asks as Jimin pulls on his favorite Chanel sweater, checking his reflection in the mirror before turning around.

Jungkook smiles lightly, standing up as Jimin pulls on his jacket, tilting his head with a smile.

"Let's go.".

"Where are we going?".

"No idea. Taehyung's again?".

"I could call him and the others, but let's meet up at Jin's. His house is hands-down the best.".

"I've never been there.". Jungkook remarks, and Jimin nods slowly.

"Think Taehyung's, but bigger and with a ballroom.".

"Whoa.".

"What. The. Actual. Fuck.".

Seokjin laughs as Jungkook stares around the foyer, eyes wide, taking in the gilded banisters, double stairs, marble floor and the chandelier at the top of the ceiling.

"It's amazing, isn't it?". Namjoon remarks. "One of the many upsides of a rich boyfriend.".

Jin rolls his eyes, smile slightly forced.

"Yeah, yeah. Let's go to my room or something. That's where Tae, Hobi and Yoongi are too.". He gives Jimin and Jungkook a look before turning back around. "Jimin told me you guys have something to tell us?".

"Is it what I think it is?". Namjoon asks excitedly, and Jimin shrugs.

"Depends on what you think.".

"No shit.".

"Y'all dramatic as fuck. I'll tell you when we're with the others.".

"Lame.". Jin comments, leading them up the stairs. "What happened to me being your favourite hyung?".

"That was a month ago when you bought me Starbucks. Get your game back up.".

Jin rolls his eyes and Namjoon laughs, opening the door to Jin's room. Hoseok waves from Jin's bed, Yoongi on his phone next to him, Taehyung with a box of tissues and popcorn next to him as he watches K-dramas on Jin's TV.

"There you guys are!". Hoseok yells, and Jimin grins, sitting down next to Taehyung.

"Hey. What are you guys watching?".

"Crash Landing On You.". Taehyung says, wiping his eyes again. "Shush. It's the good part.".

"Tae, you've been crying over this scene for a solid year now.".Yoongi comments. "Get over yourself.".

"Shut up, Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin are the sole reason love isn't dead.".

"Speaking of love...". Jimin starts, sharing a look with jungkook. "So, you know Jungkook has a crush on someone?".

Everyone groans, and Jimin looks surprised.

"Don't tell me you're still trying to guess it.". Yoongi says.

"He's so clueless.". Hoseok remarks, and Namjoon nods.

"It's literally so obvious, but he won't see it.".

"Um, excuse you, I know who it is.". Jimin retorts, rolling his eyes sassily.

Jungkook coughs.
