53 ~ Jump!

So this book is almost over. I notice that I really want to start a new project but of course I have to finish this one first. I decided to not torture myself and my writers block anymore and just put a massive time skip in with some information about what happened in the meantime. I hope you guys don't mind.

You were standing besides Draco st the wooden bridge leading towards Hogwarts. The past few days had been crazy.

Your mother first took you back home. You thought it was an idiotic idea. Draco was literally being hunted down by the dark Lord and she took you to the most obvious place.

You only went there to get some more supplies. New clothes, some food and water. She wanted to leave fast as well.

She took you to Hogwarts. You heard Snape had just left the school. All preparations had begon. There was a shield around Hogwarts and everyone had their own position.

You never expected it to come to this.. but you were happy to have Draco by your side. Luckily he was there with you and not out there in a scary place with all the other scary people.

Your position was outside the big wooden bridge leading into Hogwarts. You were there with Neville and Draco. You wanted to cherish this moment.

The war scared you. You could loose everyone. You didn't want that. Especially not Draco or your mother. You already lost your dad you didn't want to go through any more grief.

You look around for a moment. You knew exactly that they were out there.. waiting and watching. You swallowed. It scared you. You were terrified but wouldn't show it. You had to stay strong. For everyone.

You hadn't seen everyone there in ages. Neville looked pretty beat up but you would ask about that later. You had to focus and prepare. You already had your wand in your hand.

You knew something was going to come for you. You just didn't know what. Voldemort had too many minions.

'Y/N.' Draco said.

You turned to him. Draco stepped closer to you. You looked up at him. You could stare at him forever. He was truly beautiful in the star light. You smiled at him.

'Thank you.' He said.

You grinned and blushed. You looked away from him for a small second but quickly let your eyes meet his again.

'For what?'

'For making sure I'm here, and not out there with all that evil. I love you so much.'

You pulled him closer and kissed him. Draco kissed you back right away. You heard Neville cough uncomfortably. Draco pulled back and rolled his eyes with a smile. You laughed a little.

'If anything happens, promise me you'll be strong and will always be here for you family.' Draco said.

'Dont say that.'

'I have to.' Draco said. 'Promise me.'

You looked up at him and sighed. You didn't want to think about loosing him. You didn't want to be without him. You wanted to be with him forever. You already realised that.

'I promise.'

Neville suddenly stepped forwards. You heard screaming and footsteps in the distance. Draco grabbed your hand and held you tightly for one last time before you turned.

You saw some snatchers running towards you. You held his hand tightly.. but when they got closer they suddenly vanished. You saw a cocky smile on Nevilles face while he stepped forwards.

'Yeah!' He spoke while stepping forwards a bit. 'You and your whose army!' He yelled.

You looked up at the sky and saw a little orange piece float down. The shield..  it had probably been broken. Neville suddenly looked scared. You looked at Draco.

The snatchers yelled and everyone started running. You started to panic.

'Run!' Draco yelled.

You grabbed Nevilles wrist and pulled him with you while you began to run. You heard the screaming and footsteps behind you. You didn't dare to let go of the boys.

Everyone started casting spells at you, they all missed and hit the bridge. Your mind immediately realised how fregile this bridge was. Neville casted a spell back, hitting the wood of the bridge. You saw that spell shoot through the wood and slowly started breaking apart.

Everything behind you started exploding. You tried to pull the boys with you to run even faster. You heard more and more snatchers scream and fall.

You saw Ginny and some others up ahead. They were encouraging you to keep going. Could you out run them? Was this your end? Your had to at least save the others.

You pushed the boys infront of you. Draco looked back at you. The bridge was about to break. You looked up at the sky and took a deep breath.

'Jump!' You yelled.

You watched Neville and Draco jump onto stable ground while you fell behind. You jumped with the last energy you had and stretched your arms. You held onto the edge of the other side of the bridge.

'Y/N!' Draco screamed.

Draco ran to the edge and looked down. He saw you hanging there. Neville sat down besides him. Draco offered you his hand.

You grabbed it and he pulled you up with Neville's help. You threw your wand onto the bridge and pushed yourself up until your could place a hand down. You pushed and pushed until your could finally rest your upped body in the wooden planks.

Everyone ran towards you and pulled you onto the bridge. You sat up and held Draco and Neville tightly.

'I thought we were all going to die.' You panted.

'You were very close..' Neville said.

You all got up. The battle had really begun. Everyone headed into the castle..
