Draco was right. Winter hit Hogwarts like a truck. Within days a big pile of snow covered Hogwarts. In these days you and Draco spend a lot of times indoors. After school you often studied with Ron, Harry and Hermione. You were getting better at balancing your life.

Draco.. you admired him for some reason. Your mind just couldnt think badly off him. Everything he gave you a cute smile or if he'd look at you.. your mind just went blank. Evenings with him went twice as fast and you had no idea why.

You and Draco were truly best friends. You knew everything about each other in the few months that you had been at Hogwarts. You never imaged to get such a connection with someone.

'Y/N, there you are.'

You turned around and saw Harry, Ron and Hermione. They sat down on the couch. Were they looking for you?

'We want to discuss something you but you cant tell anyone. Not even Malfoy.'

You sat down with them with a questioning look. That sounded serious. You always told Draco everything.. or well.. almost everything. You just trusted him a lot.

'What's up?'

'Do you promise?' Harry asked.

You nodded. They seemed pretty paranoid. They checked the common room before turning to you.

'We're going to start a secret group.' Hermione said. 'We're not learning how to defend ourself. We have to start practising our skills. Harry will teach us. It's going to be called Dumbledore's army.'

Were they serious? That was forbidden. If umbridge found out you'd get expelled!

'We could get expelled for that!' You hissed.

'We have to learn! There's a war coming up Y/N!' Harry exclaimed.

'Why can't Draco know. He's a clever guy, he can fight.'

'What did we tell you? We wont risk it. He might be a death eater!' Ron said.

You almost completely forget that for a moment. You and Draco had such nice moments together that it was all a little.. unclear.

'Let's just start off with a select group and we can always add people.' Harry said. 'Do you want to help us?' he asked.

You sat back in your chair. You looked at the three.

'I'm in.'

They smiled.

'Alright. Tomorrow we're going to meet at the leaky cauldron with everyone. Make sure you're there.'

You nodded. You then saw Draco heading into the common room. You smiled right away when you saw him. The trio stared at him in silence.

'Hi Draco.' You greeted him.

He sat down besides you.

'What's up, Y/N?' He asked.

The trio got up and just left. They didnt even say goodbye to you. They just walked away. You sighed and looked at him.

'Not much. Do you want to go to Hogsmeade tomorrow?' You asked.

His face lit up while his smile grew a little wider. He always got happy when you invited him.

'Of course. Why?'

'Oh me and the trio have some stuff to do there but before that I'd just wanna chill there.'

'Oh what are you guys going to do?' He asked.

That was probably a stupid thing to even say. You didnt want to break the trust of the others.

'Oh just hanging with some people.'

That was true. Kind of. Right? Draco looked at you and raised his brows.

'You're a terrible liar. You were put on this earth to be honest.'

You tried to keep a straight face. It was technically true. You were going to hang with some people. In a secretive setting.

'Is it something you're not allowed to tell me?' He asked.

You didn't say anything. You were sure that gave it away. Draco sighed and repositioned himself to face you.

'You don't have to tell me but you have to know that I'm trust worthy. I have no idea what they said about that but I am.'

You sighed and looked at the door of the common room. Why did you want to trust him that badly. Even after what you knew. You had a weak spot for him and you didn't know why.. were it those mysterious eyes that kept you hooked on the beauty if his face.. you dragged yourself out of your thoughts while looking at him with a blushing face.

'I promised them.' You just said.

'I know. I'm not going to force you to tell me. Just know that if you ever want to, I'll be here.' Draco smiled while laying his hand on your leg.

You looked at it and felt yourself get even more red.

'But yes, I'd love to hang out tomorrow before you're off to do what ever it is you're going to do.'

'That sounds nice. Last time was a lot of fun.'

'It was, hanging out with you is always fun. I'd never say no to that.'

If he'd go on like this you felt like you were going to die. You had been having that feeling for awhile now. You and Draco just vibed. That was the only explaination to you at this point.

'Don't wear your robes.' He grinned.

You playfully pushed him. Draco grinned and got up to sit a little closer to you while grabbing a book ge brought with him.

'Oh no, boys and girls aren't meant to be this close together Draco.'

Draco shot you a glare before you both laughed.

'I don't care. I like being close to you.'

Draco said that before he realised it. He decided to quickly move on before you were going to ask too much. Sometimes he was afraid you were getting too close to him.. he was afraid he let you in too much.

'I found this book in the library. Made me think of you. Thought you might like it.'

You grabbed it from him. You turned it over to look at the cover.

'Alchemy?' You asked.

'It's a hobby of mine and seeing we both kind of like the same things I thought you might like it too.'

You smiled and gave him a hug.

'Thank you.' You smiled.

Draco hugged you back with a massive smile.

'No problem, Y/N.' He smiled. 'Let's go to the library, I'll help you get started.'
