23 ~ Once a death eater, always a death eater

'Y/N, Draco, lets go!'

You and Draco hurried down the stairs. Today you were going back to Hogwarts today. The day you saw your friends actually went better after Molly spoke out. Harry was the only one who truly refused to talk to Draco.

Harry was being really childish. Hermione really tried to accept Draco and Ron just had to get used to the idea. He was still a little hesitant but you knew he was trying.

Draco really didnt know what this was going to bring him. But he felt better for sure. They now knew he wasnt what they thought of him. Maybe more people at Hogwarts would now see that.

'Are you guys excited to go back?' Your father asked.

'Definitely.' You smiled.

Draco was unsure of what was going to happen. He always had to find his own way to the station. He had no clue how to get there from here.

'Alright, lets go then.' Your mother smiled.

You walked with your parents out of the house. Draco looked at it before following you. You turned back and walked over to him. You grabbed his hand while following your parents.

'So your parents bring you to the station?' He asked.

'Yeah.' You grinned. 'How else are we supposed to get there?'

'Well you could walk. There'a flo powder network that leads close to the stations. Its a bit of trouble with your lugage but you know, managable. Better than walking.'

'No! Those days are over, Dray. If you live with me, my parents will take us.' You smiled.

It didnt take long before you arrived at the station. You took all your lugage to the wall between platform 9 and 10. You let your lugage go and hugged your mum tightly.

'See you soon!' You smiled. 'I love you.' You said while.letting her go and hugging her dad.

'We love you too.' Your dad smiled.

Your mum looked at Draco.

'Come here.' She grinned.

She gave him a warm hug and so did you father.

'We will see you in the summer.' Your mum smiled. 'Stay safe.'

'I will.' He smiled.

Draco walked back to his stuff. You waved one last time before running onto platform, Draco following close behind.

You put away your stuff and looked at the train. The platform was still rather calm. You looked at Draco.

'I really enjoyed the holiday with you.' You smiled.

Draco grabbed your chin and pressed his lips against yours. You smiled before kissing him back.

'Same to you.' He smiled.

Your grabbed his hand again and took him into the train.Draco took a deep breath as he sat down in the train carriage. You stared at him for a moment and smiled. He looked at you.

'What?'

'Nothing.' You blushed.

You sat down besides him. Hermione cheerfully walked into the carriage. Harry almost had to be dragged in.

'Hi guys.' You smiled.

'Hey.' They all said in their own way.

'So Mal...' Hermione started.

She didnt really know what to call Draco at this point. Draco sat back a little. He had no idea what to expect out of this.. but he willing go give it a try.

'It's Draco for who's confortable with it.'

Hermione was really trying. Ron was difficult to read and Harry was totally not in the mood to ever accept Draco the way he was.

'Alright.. Draco.. did Y/N explain a bit about the DA?' She asked. 'Are you interested in joining.'

Harry sighed. Like a very obvious sigh. An attention sigh.

'Harry.' Hermione said while rolling her eyes.

'Dont give it any attention. He is acting like a child.' You sighed.

'I am interested. It sounds great. I cant wait to see what you guys can teach me. Anything better than umbridge.'

Harry looked away from the group. He really was like a child that didnt get a candy. You looked at Ron.

'Listen I'm fine with it. I just dont want to call you... Draco... yet.'

'That's fine, Weasley.' he said.

You laid your head on Draco's shoulder. Draco looked at you and smiled while wrapping his arm around you.

'Still tired?' He asked.

'The holiday got me used to getting up late.' You sighed.

Draco grinned.

'You mustve needed the sleep.'

Harry looked at you guys and rolled his eyes. Hermione pulled Harry to his feet and opened the door.

'Get out with your childish behaviour. You heard what Molly said.'

'Youre seriously siding with them?! He only likes her because she believes every word he says! Once a death eater, always a death eater.' Harry spat.

You hadnt said anything when he was there but you werent going to keep accepting this. Draco looked out of the window, clearly holding back his anger.

'He has never been a death eater. He showed you.' You hissed.

'You believe anything he says. He has you wrapped around his finger!' Harry spat.

You got up and grabbed him by the ear.

'Ouch!' He exclaimed.

You dragged him out of the carriage and pushed him aside.

'Youre unbelievable. I dont want you to talk ti me until you can act normal!' You hissed.

'What about the DA?! huh?!'

'Thats an exception. And Draco is joining. Get out of my face.' You almost yelled. 'You call yourself my friend but youre acting like the biggest morron I have ever met! Go away!'

'I-'

'Get out of my face!'

Harry didnt say anything and left. You stood there for a moment trying to calm down. Draco got up and opened the carriage door.

'Are you okay?'

'I am. I just.. lost it. Im sorry.'

He stepped out of the carriage and gave you a hug.

'He's wrong. I love you for you.' He said

'I know, dont worry.'

You gave him a kiss before heading back inside. Ron looked at you.

'Im sorry about his behaviour. I mean I gotta get used to it but that's rediculous.'

'We will talk to him.' Hermione said.

You sat back down. Draco held you tightly to him to show you it was going to be okay.
