37 ~ boys are stupid

I'm gonna do a small time skip to after katie was cursed bc we all know it happens and I dont want Y/N and Draco to go to the dinner party from slughorn so that's all a little irrelevant. Okay enjoy

Draco still hadn't read his letter. It was fine to you. As long as he took his time. It was his decision and you were waiting patiently.

It was winter. Snow covered the Hogwarts grounds. A lot had happened. Katie bell got cursed. It was horrible. You were at hogsmeade, walked outside and she was flying in the air. Apparently she got a cursed necklace from someone. 

Harry and Hermione got invited to a dinner party from slughorn. You and Draco werent invited although you were invited to his christmas party. Maybe you werent exclusive or talented enough for his dinner party but at least you could go to that party. With Draco.

Today it was the first match Ron was ever going to play. Everyone was cheerful and ready for the match. You hadnt seen ron yet but you hoped he would come soon so you could wish him luck.

Your ran your hand through Draco's hair before straightening his sweater. Draco swatted your hands away and fixed his hair right away.

'My beautiful hair. How dare you?'

You laughed and smiled st him afterwards. You were sitting at the Gryffindor table while everyone was preparing for the first match of the year. Gryffindor against Slytherin.

'Look at him.' Draco said.

You turned around and watched Ron slowly approach the table. He looked terrible.. terrified. He slowly sat down. His face almost as white as Dumbledore's beard.

You laid your hand on his upper arm. Ron looked at you with big eyes before looking at Harry, who was opposite of him.

Lavender made her way to your table. You had no idea why she was suddenly all over you guys. Since the start of the year really.

'Goodluck today Ron.' She smiled. 'I know you'll be brilliant.'

She then hurried away again. Hermione glared at her. She noticed your staring at her. You raised your brows and she rolled her eyes which made you laugh.

'I'm resigning.. after this match McGlaggan can have my spot.'

'Have it your way.' Harry immediately said.

Harry handed Ron stared at it.

'Dont worry Ron. You're gonna be amazing. Else you wouldn't have made it onto the team.'

Harry shouldn't say something like that. Ron was his best friend. He should be building him up.

'Juice.' Harry just said.

Ron mumbled a little bit and just stared at it.

'Hello everyone.' Luna smiled.

You looked at Luna. She was wearing her famous lion head. It looked great on her. Luna was such an amazing person.

'You look dreadful Ron.. is that why you put something in his cup? Is it a tonic?'

All eyes were on Harry right away as he tucked away his liquid luck. No way. No way! Thats cheating. That's against the rules.

'Liquid luck?' You asked him.

Ron stared at the cup. He grabbed it with a slight smile.

'Don't drink that Ron!' Draco sighed.

Ron already took the sip. Hermione grabbed her book and slapped him with it.

'Ouch! Hermione!' Harry hissed.

Ron got up.

'Come on Harry, we've got a game to win.' He smiled.

He got up and hurried away. Harry and Draco got up too. Draco bend down and gave you a kiss.

'I'll be watching. You can do it!'

Draco smiled and gave you another kiss.

'Gosh, I love you. Alright. See you soon, trouble.'

The match was amazing. Ron was amazing. Probably because of the liquid luck. Draco was holding you in his arms while everyone was cheering for Ron, the star of the match.

'You were very good too.' You smiled at Draco.

Draco grinned and kissed the top of your head.

'I'm not jealous. Dont worry.' Draco smiled. 'He was great. He deserves it.'

You turned your head back to Ron and watched how Lavender approached Ron. They looked at each other before Lavender grabbed his head and kissed him.

You immediately looked at Hermione. The proud smile on her face disappeared. A look of pure pain and heartbreak was all that was left. You pushed Dracos arm off you as Hermione walked away. Harry looked at you. You signed that he had to come with you.

You pulled Draco and Harry towards the corridor. The closer you got to Hermione the more you heard her soft cries. Poor girl. That broke your heart.

You let the boys go and hurried towards her. You sat down and pulled her against you. You gently stroke her hair as you allowed her to cry against you.

'Boys are stupid.' You said.

'Hey!' Harry and Draco spoke in unison.

'He is stupid. He doesn't know what he's missing. You're amazing. Lavender is just a big attention seaker.'

Hermione sat up and turned around.

'How does it feel, Harry? When you see Dean with Ginny?' She asked.

Harry looked at her for a moment. Ginny?

'Ginny?' You asked.

'You like Ginny?' Draco followed.

'I see the way you look at her. You're my best friend.' Hermione said.

'Like this..' harry said. 'It feels like this.' He said while pointing at Hermione.

Wow. Two friends in pain. What a night. Draco gave Harry a pat on the back.

'Dont worry. I heard Ginny and dean fight a lot. That cant last long.'

You heard the laughing of Lavender at the other end of the corridor. Hermione got up. Ron and Lavender turned around the corner.

'Oh. Let's go. I think this room is taken.' Lavender grinned.

Hermione had the deadliest look on her face. She was breathing heavily. Everyone looked at Ron. Looks of disappointment.

'Oppugno.' Hermione hissed.

The birds she had summoned earlier flow over to Ron and attacked him but he ran off without anything hitting him.

Hermione sat down again and continued crying against you.
