The day dragged on, George laugh was heard through the house as he streamed.

Dream had woken up early and instead of George being curled up with Patches, he was in the blondes arms. The time on the alarm clock read 7:17am and Dream thought that he could just fall back asleep and enjoy the warmth for a little while longer.

But he woke up to cold sheets and the midday sun shining in his eyes. The kitchen had been used, bathroom items a mess on the sink, water cup emptied.

Dream was sat at the counter, listening to George yell loudly at Sapnap and Karl, wishing he was there but not wanting their energy to shift.

The pair hadn't spoken all day, after he woke up alone the second time, he could only assume why George was being so distant.

When it finally died down, Dream went to knock on George's door, "George?"

He was welcomed in with a low "Yeah?" He stood awkwardly, the same way George had the night before. Instead of looking at the floor, though, he was looking at George, who wouldn't meet his eyes.

"I'm sorry about-"

"I wanted to talk about-" they both went to speak at the same time. George finished both their thoughts with a whisper. "This morning."

"You can speak first," he said soon after, staring into the fans of the small PC Dream had bought for his streams.

"Oh, okay, um," he rubbed the back of his neck nervously. He didn't want to think about how their legs were intertwined or the way George's breath felt on his neck. But he longed for it again at the same time. "I don't know how we ended up like that this morning, but I'm sorry if it made you uncomfortable."

George finally met his eyes, his face unreadable but it still cause a flutter in Dreams heart. "I've been thinking about it all day. I got spooked a little when I felt, um," he paused for a second and it was if Dream could see his brain debating with itself. "When I felt your arms around me like that. I think I was a little bothered then but as soon as I sat down with my breakfast I regretted getting up. I got cold."

Dream bit back a smile. He didn't want George to know that he liked that George liked it or that he liked to make him warm.
