Part 4. That morning on the train

A few days later I was feeling better than ever. I was packed and ready for the ride to Hogwarts this afternoon. Of course, Molly stuffed us full before the ride. But soon we were all heading to King's Cross. You felt like nothing could go wrong this year right? You were always with Harry, Ron, and Hermione on their crazy adventures through Hogwarts.
        Maybe this year there wouldn't be a sorcerer's stone with a three-headed dog guarding it (afterward though Hagrid let you help him with fluffy and he was a quite nice dog), Or a chamber holding a massive snake and the one and only Tom riddle who almost killed Ginny, and hopefully, there won't be a rumored serial killer on the loose that turns out to be harry's godfather and is also friends with your werewolf teacher ( overall though you liked lupin he was a great teacher and loved when he taught DADA).

    Yep as crazy as it sounds you were hoping for a normal year with no werewolf teachers and no killers on the loose. Just a normal happy year with your friends. And maybe this year you will pluck up enough courage to ask Fred to be your boyfriend.

"Your turn Y/N," someone said I wasn't quite sure who. I ran towards the wall in front of me like I had the past 3 years. And boom, just like that I was on platform 9 3/4.

*Time skip*

I was in my usual compartment with Ron, Harry, And Hermione. And as usual, the boys were playing a game with every flavored jelly beans, while me and Mione were reading. When George opened the door I smiled at him and he asked " Can I take Y/N For a second''
Everyone nodded and I simply replied "umm sure what for"

"Nothing big" Thanks George that helped a lot. He proceeded to take me out of the compartment and into the hallway.

"What did you do to my twin?!"
"What do you mean."
"I mean he won't stop talking about you and"
"and what George"
"And I had never seen him so worried about anything except for when you were in that condition for a few days"
"Honestly George I don't know what you're talking about"
"Uh-huh right sure"
"He probably just cares about me I am one of his friends you know"
"No, that's not it, he never reacts this way with just friends"
"Well he did save my life at the world cup"
"I know that everyone knows that"
"I honestly I don't know what to tell you George just go talk to him about it"
"I tried but he is being so defensive about it"
"Well I am sorry but I can't help you"

    George grunted but went back to his compartment with Fred. What did he mean about Fred? After a minute or so you went back to your compartment.

"So what did my brother want?" Ron asked as I walked through the door.

"To be honest I am not sure"
"How can you be not sure you had an entire conversation about it" Mione stated
"It was a very confusing conversation"
"Isn't every conversation confusing with George?" Harry asked. I chuckled at the fact that sometimes none of the things George says make sense. I shrugged and picked up my book. Soon I would be at Hogwarts, my 3rd home (aside from your home you have the burrow).

*Fred Pov*

When George walked back into our compartment I asked him "what took you so long?"
"Nothing" he immediately responded
"What took you so long...George"
"I was talking to Y/N"
He was hiding something. where they were dating behind my back?! I got a bit angrier as I thought about this.
"About what?" I tried to ask calmly but I couldn't hide it from George.
"You have been defensive about her the entire trip" I looked at the ground.
"You haven't been joking or helping me plan pranks"
He was right. I knew I couldn't hide it from him any longer.
"I am going to tell you something you can't tell anyone else, Ok?"
"Ok"
"I like Y/N, and I think I have for a very long time. I just never noticed it, you know. But just a few days ago she was on the verge of death, and that's when I realized how much I need her. When I brought her back to the port key. I had saved her life, and that really brought things to reality for me. I almost lost her and I realized that she means everything to me,I can't imagine a life without her George, and I don't want to." I confessed

    George just looked at me shocked. I guess he hadn't expected me to be so forward.
He finally asked "well what are you going to do?" and honestly I had no idea.
