Part 19. Missing

A/N: To anyone who is wondering why there's an update with more chapters despite me saying I was going to rewrite the story here's your answer. I'm still doing the rewrite but I have like five extra chapters still written for this fic. Now they're unedited but if for whatever reason you want to read more, here's the only other chapters I've written.

*Time Skip*

Tomorrow, that's when whatever the second task
is will take place. Where am i? You may ask. Well as of currently you were walking to professor McGonagall's office. Why? Well that's another good question, you're not quite sure. But if McGonagall needs you it's best not to ignore it.

As you take the last step to her office door, you take a deep breath before knocking four times on her door.

"Come in!" Your professor's familiar voice calls from inside. You turn the handle and push the door open before stepping inside. The first thing that catches your eye is the other three extra people in the room.

The first two you know well Ron and Hermione, but what were they doing here? The last is a new face to you though. She is a short girl who seems around eight or nine years old (I googled it and that's what it said. I'm sorry if that is false information). She has beautiful blond hair in a ponytail. If it hits the lighting right there seems to be a small amount of gold coloring in her hair as well. She has blue eyes, they can almost appear green if you look at the right time. She is in a Beauxbatons uniform. She looks incredibly familiar, but where have you seen her before? She gives you a sweet smile, her teeth are a pearly white. She seems to be a very charming young girl. You give her a smile back.

"Hello ms.Diggory, nice of you to join us." McGonagal claims rising from her seat at the desk she was sitting at moments before.

"Hello professor, may I ask what I am here for?"

"Yes you may, however first I would like you to meet Gabrielle Delacour. She is one of the students from Beauxbatons."

"Nice to meet you Gabrielle, im Y/N Diggory" You reach out and shake the hand she had extended.

"Diggory? As in Cedric Diggory correct?"

"That's correct im his younger sister."

"Well I'm fleur delacour's younger sister. It's very nice to meet you."

"You as well."

That's why she looks so familiar. You had met Fleur sometime before the first task. She is a very nice person, very beautiful as well. Incredibly easy to talk to, strangely enough you would talk to her about your fred problems. She would sit and listen and give you advice. You do remember her bringing up how the weasleys seem nice. However they were very young for her, which she understood. She did ask about if they have any older siblings closer to her age. It did make you laugh a bit but you told her about Bill and how he works for gringotts. She was insanely interested in it which amused you. You wonder if her sister is as nice as her, it seems that way but you never know.

"Professor, why are we here?" You ask again, turning your attention back towards her.

"Well as you know the second task is arriving quite soon."

"Yes, tomorrow" Hermione pipes up informing us of something we were already aware of.

"Yes miss, Granger tomorrow. Well in the eggs it is spoken that something special will be taken from the champions."

"Yes" You say slowly, you were starting to understand where this was going. "It also claims that if it is not retrieved within two hours it will be lost forever." That is what scared you. They couldn't use people, right? Surely that would be against the rules.
