Part 11. Hogsmeade makes you forget

*Y/N pov*

I absolutely love Hogsmeade. It always smells like butterbeer and sweets from honeydukes. The beautiful architecture of every house and each shop is so different. It has always been a comfort place, and today I love it even more. Everyone is so distracted that they don't even care about the kiss. I can only hope that it will stay that way when we go back to Hogwarts. Lost in my thoughts I had hardly noticed that we were at Zonko's. We always went here then honeydukes then the Three Broomsticks for a butter beer and spend the rest of the time wandering around and shopping at random stores.
We walked in and the twins ran away to look at what was bought and how much they cost for their prophets. I looked around looking for something for everyone's christmas gift. I did have a list and quickly looked at it every once in a while.

*Fred POV*

By the time we had arrived at Hogsmeade everyone had pretty much forgotten about the kiss, and me and Y/N we're talking and laughing. I love her laugh so much it seems to light up the whole room sometimes. We were even playfully flirting like old times. I wish I would just apologize and forget the kiss, but somehow i couldn't. It wouldn't go away that easily. I don't know what I am feeling or what I am doing anymore but i just couldn't let it go yet.

We were in Zonko's now and George was checking the dungbombs, leaving me lost in thought. Y/N kept glancing at this paper and I couldn't help but wonder what it was.

"Alright dungbombs are just like last year, how are the fireworks?" George asked coming up behind me
"Umm there fine, do you-"
"Swooning over Y/N again really? You can't go a minute without swooning?"
"I-I am sorry but she keeps looking at a paper. Do you know what it is?"
"No but if it mattered she would tell us"
"Yeah your right, I am just gonna go check up on her"
"Whatever mate, go snog your girlfriend."
"She is not my girlfriend!" I could feel myself blushing. I never blush.
"Oh yeah then why are you red as a tomato?"
"Just- Shut it!"

He shrugged and walked away. I walked towards Y/N.

"What you got there?" She jumped at the sound of my voice. She was probably thinking about something.
"I um nothing"
"Right hand it over'
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
"Ugh fine keep it"
"Thank you, it is really none of your business anyway"
"Oh yeah how so"
"Christmas is coming up you idiot"
"Right right is that why you keep looking at that paper?" I asked, pointing to the paper in her hand.
"Maybe, Maybe not what is it to you"
"Oh nothing just wandering"

She giggled at that. Her giggle is so cute.

"Oi Freddie boy that's enough flirting we have work to do!" George yelled
Y/N Raised her eyebrows at me "Yeah Freddie boy"
"Oh shut it" I responded as I left Y/N side.

*Y/N Pov*
*Time skip*

After going to Honey dukes, I was lucky enough to have found everything I needed. We were heading to the three broomsticks. Fred and George walked over to the bar to order some butterbeers. When they came back we all started to drink our butterbeers, and talk. Soon enough though it was time to go back to hogwarts.
*Time skip*

You had just finished your coca and now it was time for bed, It was only you and the twins downstairs at the time but you didn't mind.

"Ok I better go to bed" You said placing your mug on the table.
"No wait I-I want to talk to you" Fred stamerd standing up with you.
"Ok"

You two left George on the sofa and went to talk.

"Alright what is this about?"
"Can we just forget about it?"
'About what"
"You know what"
"I mean not really no"
"Ugh the kiss can we forget about the kiss"
"Oh of course freddie"
"Good thanks"
"Yeah of course but now I really have to go to bed and looks like you do," I pointed to George who was now passed out on the couch.
"Huh yeah guess I do"
"Well the goodnight fred"
"Goodnight Y/N/N"

Okay so, I wasn't planning on posting today however if you didn't know it is Fred and George's birthday today! So I decided that I would post this chapter early. Guys we are very close to hitting 300 reads on this book and I just can't thank you enough. Please make sure you stay safe, drink water, and eat something. Also cause some mischief or pull a prank for Fred and George also it's April fools day so you have an excuse. If you don't want to do that do something that you have been wanting to do but have decided not to. I will have you know I was very close to not publishing this story, I was scared no one would like it. But here we are further than I could have seen this going almost 300 reads!
