Chapter 4

Nini POV
Today is Saturday and Gina stayed over last night. I feel really bad that she go through being out there by a boy who was being a jackass, then boys messing with her and fix her for being who she was. It was hard seeing her so sad, scared, and a little angry I could tell she was putting on a fake smile every time outside when people from the school gave her looks. When we hangout I can tell that it was real that's she was acutely happy she just needs the weekend to get all of what happened Friday out off her mind.

Gina just needed someone there for her. We haven't seen the rest of the group since yesterday, I am scared what some of their reactions will be mostly Ashlyn, Gina was so scared to finish school yesterday. Just because that she might run into Ashlyn and it would be weird but I have no idea where anyone went yesterday.

I look over and see Gina waking up "Morning sleepy head." I said, seeing her slowly open her eyes.
"Morning, what time is it?" Gina asked in her morning voice.

"It's 9:30 I woke up at 8:00."
"Why didn't you wake me up? I would have stayed awake." I can tell she was trying to be nice, when she was actually really tried.

"I can tell you are still tired from the bags under your eyes, you were just going to fall asleep anyways." I giggled While she layer back down. "Come on sit up we are going out for breakfast so let's go." I grab her hands a pull her up and get her close ready so we can go.

Once I get her stuff ready I get my close and head to the bathroom to get ready, once I see Gina coming down the stairs I get off the couch "Ready?" I asked, making sure she was ready to actually go outside.
"Yeah let's go." I open the door and Gina runs to the car.

Every time Gina goes outside she rushes to where she wants go because she is still scared that someone will see her and make fun of her she still scared from what those boys did to her. "Gi your going to have to walk somewhere without running to where your going." I said while hoping into the car. "I know I just need the weekend off from all of it, on Monday I can hopefully get through it. She said a little nervous

"Alright that's fair as long as you are ready I will be here." A said while trying to make sure she knows she has me by her side.
Gina POV
Nini has been amazing helping me out through something that would be very hard to get over, but she has been by my side for years and I know that she will never leave.
"Nini?"
"Yeah?"
"Thank you."
"For what?"
"Everything, just being here helping me with that has happened through high school, the first year I was a jerk to you and you just forgave me for somethingI could barely forgive myself for doing I just can't believe you have been here for me. I barely help you as much as you help me and wish I have help you and I don't know it." I said as one tear rolled down my cheek.

"Gina you have done so much for me even if you don't know it and the first year we ever meant was just you having your wall up but when the wall came down I saw someone who helped me find confidence in myself. You were the only person that helped me make sure people don't define who I am but I define who I am, you help me find a side of me that I didn't know I had, and I thank you so much for that." Nini said with tears in her eyes.

We arrived at Denny's once we got out of the car I tried running in by put Nini stoped me and gave me a hug.
"What is this for?" I asked confused
"Just making sure you know I will always be here even when no one else will." She said while pulling away from the hug.

We go inside and get a booth once we sit down I see Nini give someone a deadeye, I know why she is she is probably telling someone to leave us alone and not making fun of us or me. I know the look she does it a lot of people when they make fun of our friend group.

"Nini stop I know what your doing just leave it alone." I tell her, I see that her face softened a little. "Fine but if thay do anything to us I am no going soft." She said between anger and softness.

The rest of the day Nini and I hung out and watched some Disney movies and eat a lot of snacks I went home and felt asleep right away and with a smile on my face.
