Chapter 21

Gina's POV
We stayed I. The water for a couple of hours, so now we're walking back to our stuff and eat while just hanging out. This is the most I have seen Nini laugh and be happy in a long time I'm happy that she's happy. I wish she had the confidence to sing again I miss her voice so I was excited to see her bring her guitar but I guess step by step right? "Alright any songs suggestions?" I think I have away to get Nini to sing again, she said she didn't have the motivation what about singing Taylor swift and everyone asking her to sing with us, I know that they would beg anyways so this might work. "What about a Taylor swift song?" No one knows about plan but I'm hoping it'll work.

"Alright Taylor swift it is!" Ricky started strumming "cruel summer" I could tell Nini wanted to sing so we're so close already, Nini joined in strumming and everyone saw Nini wanted to sing so Carlos decided to ask. "Come on Neens sing us." Everyone agreed and giving her puppy eyes to sing. "Alright fine as long as you guys stop giving me puppy eyes I can't resist those!" It's been so long since Nini last sang I had tears running down my face it's so good to see Nini being herself again. Once the song was over I ran over to Nini to hug her. "I'm so proud of you." We stayed hugging then everyone else came into a group hug.

"Nini we are so proud of you!" It looks like she was confused on what Carlos meant. "Nini you haven't song in years you just stepped a little closer to the person you want to be!" A big smile appeared on her face, I know she's proud of herself. "I know, thank you guys." We all laughed. "Let's sing sing another song!" Ricky and Nini started strumming I didn't recognize it till I hear Ricky sing it's Ricky, Nini, ej, and I song "second chance"

"I miss singing that song." The four of us looked at each other and hugged. "When did you guys write that?" We laughed at the look on everyone face. "We wrote if when we all need a second I just thought it would be good for Nini to her right now." I nod in agreement with Ricky's statement. "Yeah I agree Ricky because I think all of us see Nini thinking or saying she doesn't deserve a second chance. But we all n of you always need a second chance to be yourself." We all sat to hear Nini's response. "You're right I always think I don't deserve what I get, and I feel like I don't deserve any other chance at being myself again but hearing that sing again and singing again helped me realize sometimes you always need another chance." After that that we sang some more, ate a lot more, and went swimming a little more.
Nini's POV
We were just laughing until we all hear someone yell my name we turned around and it was my moms. "How did you know where I was here!" They looked me trying to make me feel bad for coming without permission. "Well we tracked your phone and it brought us here, so we're going home now! I also thought I told you I don't want you hanging out with her anymore!" Mamma c pointed at Gina, till now I was calm but they brought up my girlfriend it light me up. "You know what I don't care what you think! I'm not your doll you can push around and tell me what to do, I mean you threaten me and hurt me when I mess one thing up!" My moms looked mad and my friends were shocked. "When did we raise you to be like this?" I was shocked they do know my friends and myself have been the ones taking care of me. "That's the thing you didn't raise me you used me, you made me date Ricky and lead him on because I never felt the same! You just used me for your own good I mean you even blackmailed me me to tell none of my friends about you yet they know half of it!"

The next things I know I'm pushed to the ground, and I'm being punched and kicked my friends are yelling and running to come help till I see another person come and try and help my moms by the looks of it it Nick but no way he will hold off all my friends. "Dans go and keep them away from us I'm going to beat the shit out of this one it's what she deserves." Dana nodded and I looked at Carol with pleading eyes trying to get her off me. Please mammal no! Stop! Please!" She doesn't stop she just keeps going. "I'm going to make you wish you weren't born cause I wish you weren't!" She keeps pushing me till everything turns black and hearing everyone of my friends yell my name.
Gina's POV
"Nini!" We all yelled when we see her eyes close and her head fall back, I punched Dana then Ej took out Nick their both going to be out for a while. "Carol you better run we're coming after ya!" Carlos and seb go running after Carol and I run to Nini. "Nini, baby you gotta wake up please." I sobbed laying me head on her chest I hear a heart beat which it good. "Gi we have to get her to the hospital." I shook my head disagreeing with Big Red. "No if she woke up in the hospital she would freak out." They looked confused except for Ashlyn. "Gina how do you know that?" I looked up to answer kourtney's question. "Because this isn't her first time getting beat up."

We took Nini to Ashlyn and my house since it's so familiar to her. "Ok we got all the stuff you need." I have them a weak smile and said "thanks." They just nodded. "Do what are you going to do?" I looked at Ricky then back at Nini. "Right now I need Nini awake so I can ask where she is in pain so I make sure I get everywhere but in the mean time I can I can clean up the bruises on her face." They nodded and I got to work, after fixing everything all they have to do is heal, and Nini Finally wakes up. "Hey don't sit up." I quickly get over to her. "Yeah I'm familiar with the process." She took off her shirts so I can see the bruises. "This will take awhile Nini." She looked at me. "I got the time." We both laughed till he groaned in pain.
