Nini's POV
"Gi why are you crying?" I put my hand on her cheek wiping her tears. "I just don't want you to go, do you know how scared I am for you?" I gave her a sad smile know that she's scared I'll leave her. "I'm scared because if you leave a part of me will break even more from everyone I have lost." More tears rolled down her face so I pulled her head to put out foreheads together. "Gi you know I would never leave you, we have been there for each other you have been there more for me than I have been for you. So let me do this I promise I'll come back." Tears rolled down both our faces I leaned closer and put out lips together. "Stay safe when you leave please." She did after she pulled back from the kiss. "For you baby I'll try." She got up and layer next to me. "Sleep well princess." I said before I put my one arm around her and falling asleep as well.
The next day
When I woke up Gina wasn't at my side I looked around and saw her at her desk head in hands. I get up even with the pain and slowly walk over. "Hey what's wrong?" She turned around quickly worry in her eyes. "Bubs why are you standing your not healed yet!" She got up and put her hand on my waist while my arm went around her neck. "I'm worried for you I can see you're scared of something." We went back to the bed and sat there. "You're right I got a call from Nick and he threatened me if your not back by Tuesday he'll come after all of us." I sighed Tuesday is tomorrow I won't be healed all the way but it seemed like it my only choice.
"I guess I don't have a choice I have to be there after school on Tuesday." Gina's hand tightened on my waist and I know that it's her being protective of me. I know she doesn't want me to go but I have to to keep her and my friends safe. "If it means you and everyone else stays safe then I have to do it." She nodded understanding why I'm doing this. "I know but what about you being safe." I looked her in the eyes and I know there is nothing more I'd rather see. "You know I'm coming back even if I come with bruises and broken bones, it was worth keeping you safe." After I said that I pulled her into a passionate kiss.
It was time for school and I was in absolute pain but I needed to go, Gina covered up my bruises with makeup and I have my chest, ribs, and arm wrapped luckily no one can see them that's all I'm worried about right now. We went to our lockers then meeting up with the gang at Big Reds locker. "Nini why are you at school you should be resting?!" Seb said with a serious look on his face. I know I should but I can't miss school." They all sighed understanding. "Anyways any news when you have to go back." I looked at Ej with a sad smile. "Actually Gina got a call from Nick and said tomorrow I have to be home or they will come after all of us." "Why is their way-violence?" Big Red asked I looked at him with a smile. "Because ever since I've been fighting back, they have been loosing." We had smiled on our faces. "What happens if you keep fighting back? Won't it get worse?" I looked at all of us and said. "I'll always get worse even if I don't fight back they will make more advantage then they have." The bell rang and we all went our own way except for Gina and I. "Gina I was wondering since my mom will most likely be drunk for the rest of their life. "Can we show ourselves to this school? Be a couple." I saw a smile appearing on her face. "I was waiting for you to say that!"
She pulled me close our lips inches apart. I finish it by pulling her closet and connecting our lips. We kissed for a while till warning bell rang and we quickly went to class luckily we weren't far away. When we walked in I could tell people were judging but we didn't care. We sat next to each other still holding hands since the kiss. Class started abs it was the worst class ever I hate having it.
Gina's POV
I looked to my tight abs I could tell Nini wanted a distraction, so I got out a piece of paper put it in the middle of the table so we could both write on it. "Bubs why so bored?" I tapped her shoulder and pointed to the paper. "Because history is the worst class of all!" She's adorable. "Can you play me a song at our free period?" When she read what I write she had a bright smile on her face. "Sure! Original or cover?" I smiled. "Either one you want" after that we got back to work which not to lie bored me too.
