"Mhm, good morning Linds." Stevie rolled on her side facing Lindsey. He kissed her on the forehead.
"You're up awful early." She said with a yawn.
"I could say the same about you." Lindsey laughed. "No actually.. Steves I've been thinking..."
"Oh God, it's too early for that." Stevie said smirking, nudging his arm.
"Seriously Stevie. After you left the studio yesterday Christine and I were reminiscing... I mean wouldn't it be great to get the band together? One last time? Maybe we could even work on some new stuff just for old times sake?"
"Lindsey you know how I feel about this..."
"But don't you miss it Stevie? Don't you miss being up there in front of thousands of people? Don't you miss us, that connection we had? Being up there with you felt..."
"Transcendent?"
"Yes, exactly!
"Well of course I miss it! But touring is so stressful Lindsey, it brings out the worst us. I don't want to ruin what we have. Plus, we're too old for any of that shit now."
"Baby we're not too old, I mean have you seen us in the bedroom?" Lindsey winked.
Stevie rolled her eyes.
"Stevie, could you do me a favor and at least think about it?"
"Fine." Stevie said crossing her arms.
"Because... I may have asked Mick, John and Christine to join us for dinner this week to talk about it..." Lindsey rubbed his neck.
