"Hey. What are you doing in your robe? Shouldn't you be getting ready for dinner?" Lindsey said walking into the bedroom and sitting down his leather satchel.
"The dinner I didn't even agree to go to." Stevie rolled her eyes.
"Steves I wish you would trust me. Please. Just for this once. I think the band needs this. Everything ended so abruptly when you left. I think we all need closure."
Lindsey walked up behind her and gave her a kiss on the head.
"Yeah blame it on me Linds. Typical."
"Stevie, why are you getting so defensive? Look, I'm sorry that I agreed to the dinner without asking you first. I did it because I knew you would automatically shoot it down. All I'm asking if for you to have an open mind. I've talked to Mick and John and they're really looking forward to seeing you. We all care about you Stevie, whether you believe it or not." Lindsey walked into the bathroom to take a shower and shut the door.

"Stevie, come on we should have left 10 minutes ago!" Lindsey yelled checking his watch. He paced downstairs.
Stevie walked gracefully downstairs wearing one of her signature black chiffon dresses with a black shawl. Lindsey's mouth hung open as she walked into the kitchen to grab her purse.
"Wow. You look- absolutely stunning." He said looking her over.
The car ride to the restaurant was silent. Lindsey didn't want to upset her any more so he kept his mouth shut and prayed the rest of the band would be able to convince her to give Fleetwood Mac one last chance.

Lindsey and Stevie arrived last to the restaurant. Mick, John, and Christine were already seated. Mick and John stood up as Lindsey and Stevie walked over to sit down.
"Holy shit, if it isn't the mysterious Stevie Nicks in the flesh!" Mick says.
John and Christine laugh.
Hey Mick. Long time no see!" Lindsey said patting his back.
"It's been to long Steves. You look great." Mick said wrapping Stevie in a hug.
"Thank you Mick." Stevie said quietly.
"Hey mate." John said extending his hand to Lindsey. Lindsey gave him a firm handshake.
"Stevie." John said taking her hand and kissing it.
Stevie blushed.
"Oh John. You've always been such the gentleman." She said.
"Here babe." Lindsey said pulling Stevie's chair out for her.
They all took their seats.
"Thank God you're back, you don't know what it's like having to deal with these three on my own." Christine said.
Stevie laughed. "I can't barely handle Lindsey on my own."
"So first things first, are you guys together again? Mick asked.
Lindsey looked at Stevie.
"Yeah. Uh, this time we have no intentions of breaking up." Lindsey said taking Stevie's hand under the table.
"That's great and all, but that's also what you told us when you and Stevie joined the band." John said with a smile before taking a drink of his beer.
"I guess I'm just trying to understand what the band dynamic is going to be Lindsey. If we're going to give this one last go we need to be all in. No drama, no bullshit." Mick said.
"The dynamic is going to be the same as it's always been. Nothing is going to change. All the drama will be left at the door. John how do you feel?"
"I'm in, but I agree with Mick. No bullshit." John said.
"Chris?" Lindsey asked.
"You already know my answer!" Christine smiled.
All eyes fell on Stevie.
"Stevie?"
She was silent.
"Look at all we've accomplished. All the blood sweat and tears each of us has put in to keep this band afloat. We owe it to ourselves and to Fleetwood Mac to go out there once last time and give it everything we've got."
Stevie looked Lindsey in the eyes. He could tell she was deep in thought.
"Okay, fine. I'm in."
Lindsey couldn't contain himself, wrapping Stevie in a hug.
