"Where you go, I follow, no matter how far.  If life is a movie, then you're the best part."

Today was the second and final stay for Selena and I at her childhood home, and I knew she had already planned to make the most of it.

My eyes fluttered open, my love still sleeping soundly with her head on my chest and her arm draped loosely across my torso.  Her breathing was even and soft, and at that moment I knew that I made the right decision giving her the ring last night; I mean, really--who could pass up a sight as sweet as this?

I turned my head to gaze out of the window.  A smile graced my lips when I saw the tiny snowflakes falling from the sky and landing onto the ground in a thick, white sheet.  It felt like we were in the midst of a Christmas movie with this weather.

The woman in my arms hummed quietly, shifting against me, indicating that she has awoken for the day.  I turn back to her, smiling softly at her waking state.  My lips find the crown of her head, kissing her softly.  "It's snowing," I told her..

"Is it really?" she yawned, sitting up to look out the window.  My hand automatically reached up to rub circles on her bare back as she watched the snow fall.  She rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't just seeing things, and once she came to, a smile formed on her face and she sprung out of bed.  "That means the lake is probably frozen over!  Get up, we're going ice skating," she demanded as she dug through her bags for her winter clothes.

I raised my eyebrows.  "There's a lake nearby?" I asked as I sat up on my elbows to watch her.

She nodded, laying her outfit out on the bed.  "Right behind the house.  Mum and dad have skates we can use, and it isn't too far of a walk over there," she explained as she tugged her blue jeans on; she rarely ever wore denim, so this was a rare occasion.  Once she noticed that I hadn't moved from my current position, she groaned jokingly.  "Come on, Remus, I wanna get out there early before Venus and Angelina do.  Can you hook my bra for me?"

I chuckled softly as she turned her back to me.  I clasped her undergarment, and she went right back to getting dressed.  She pulled on a thin long-sleeve and then put an oversized sweater over it, tying her old Gryffindor scarf around her neck and covering her head with a white beanie.  I finally got out of bed as she was putting her shoes on, tugging on my own denim pants and a large jumper of my own.  As I was lacing up my shoes, she bent down to give me a kiss before exiting the room and heading down the stairs to speak with her mother.

I freshened up a bit in the bathroom, brushing my teeth and combing my hair, before I departed from her room and jogged down the stairs.  I bid good morning to the two younger girls who were curled up together in the living room with steaming mugs of tea in their hands before heading to the kitchen where I heard the voices of Selena and Alberta.

"Ah, Remus, good morning!" her mother cheered, smiling at me from where she was already preparing lunch.  "Winston is grabbing our old skates for you two, but shouldn't be too long.  Help yourself with some breakfast," she gestured to the buffet she had lain out on the table.
