The Mighty Manticore

Terza Parte

Now on a better journey, The Manticore flies high above the skies to seek out the girl and give her back her lost valuables. He went north from the Grandebero tree and headed to the advanced city of Nevar, a city that builds with stone and the unseeable glass, it was admired by all but raided by many for their extreme wealth and low security measures. It is founded by a man who was believed to be Jeymus, the son of God, who gave the knowledge to make the unseeable glass, but it was said that he didn't like the act of violence and didn't wanted it in his city so he banned all people who knew how to fight but kept those who are already in his city. 50 years later, the city still stands... somehow.

The Manticore was closing in and he knew this city for he has been told many stories of it by Marko's wife, Sara. So he landed and didn't bother to transform into his human self, he looked to the watchmen, they were terrified but they let him in for anyone is free to enter Nevar, he then walked freely, and a lot of people were still afraid of him but were glad to see that he wasn't eating any of them. He asked around about a girl in a white with boots that reached her knees,.. no one saw anything until the Manticore finally gave up and was walking out of the city's gate and was greeted by a man, who looks as if he was a homeless man who doesn't even have a shirt on and was very gawky, yet the Manticore still asked him, "Hello?"

"Yee- DAHHHH! Please don't eat me beast, I beg of you!" the man was down on the ground whimpering and begging for his life

The Manticore grunted with frustration, then he forced the man to stand up and said "I'm not here to hurt you!" then he placed his face close to the man's face while holding his face in place and said "What's your name?"

the man answered "Ma- Maveron, great one. Maveron son of Doberon"

The Manticore tried to understand why that was needed to be said but instead he just said "Ahh, yes, Doberon."

"You know my father? The Penetrator?" Maveron asks

"The- the Penetrator? Yes! Him, I know him, good at fucking and... penetrating" the Manticore forcefully made himself say, "But I need to ask, have you saw a girl in a white cloak and has boots that reaches her knees"

"Oh, uhm there was a girl with that definition I saw going near Deaco Town, maybe it was her" Maveron told the Manticore

"Deaco town? What is that- town? Never heard of it, and I've been to a lot of places" The Manticore says

"Oh maybe because it's a new town, it was just made two months ago" Maveron explained

The Manticore, now confused and doesn't know where to go, asked Maveron, "Come along with me and help me find the girl"

"What!? I can't do that! I have a life here" Maveron explained

"Ahh, a man who's a son of- The Penetrator and a homeless in the city of Nevar. HAHA... you will come with me" The Manticore ordered Maveron

"Well I don't want to... sir" Maveron refused the Manticore

"Well I'm not askin'" then the Manticore picked up Maveron, went to the gates, bid the watchmen fare well and flew high in the air and forced Maveron to point him at the direction of Deaco Town, which was southeast of Nevar

About an hour of travelling, with The Mighty Manticore's flight speed, they've arrived in Deaco town. The Manticore forced Maveron to go and look for the girl as he won't be able to look in a town for long without attracting attention to himself, so he just flew above it and scoped out the town from above. Maveron searched all throughout the town, asking about the girl to no avail as almost no one wanted to talk to a shirtless homeless man, until Maveron met Emi, a kind and beautiful woman who had skin as pale as milk and lips as red as blood, whom also, without hesitation, immediately told Maveron that three barbarian raiders kidnapped her and went to the town's swamp and asked that Maveron quickly save her before it was too late, this shocked and angered Maveron. He thanked Emi for telling him, went out of Deaco town and called out to the Manticore to come down
