Only Ones Who Know

THE QUEST TO SAVE JUMANJI.

"Okay, okay, woah, woah, let's just calm down, again, alright?" [Name] starts as Dustin keeps on rambling about his lost life. Will and Mike were excitedly talking about the game mechanics while Lucas and El rambled on with Dustin.

It's understandable, yes, but they have to be level headed before continuing forward. Placing a hand on Dustin's shoulder, she continues, "okay, obviously we have to be more careful, Dustin already lost a life, we don't know what might happen if he loses one more--"

"I'm not dying again!" The boy fearfully shouts as he stands up, stumbling back in the same place he was eaten by hippo mere minutes ago. Will drags him back to where they are.

"Yes, we know and we won't let that happen. We have your back, Dustin." El comforts the terrified curly haired, before she turns back to [Name].

"What do we do?" 

Will speaks up from beside [Name], "well, for starters--"

Before he could even start with his sentence, the hippo from earlier finally came back, although this time it came with a horde of angry territorial hippos. Lucas is the first to relesse a shout, and before everyone could blink, Will is already running in front of them.

"Will, you asshole!" Lucas follows and so did the rest. Surprisingly, despite being the last to move, [Name] managed to outrun him, his eyes wide mirroring hers in a confused manner. How the heck was she able to run faster than him?!

"Run faster!" [Name] shouts at Dustin and Lucas who are a bit behind.

Will almost stumbles as he finally came out of the jungle, and a large view of hilltops and green fields met his wide eyes. He turns around, confused, before being met with Mike and El running with their hands together, and a scream leaving past their open mouths. 

"What are you standing around like an idiot for?! Run!" Mike shouts, and [Name] finally emerges from the shadows, running as well. Though, her eyes went wide as she comes to a halt, and Will follows her where she's looking at.

A vehicle is driving straight at them, and the four ignores Dustin and Lucas' screaming and instead watches as the vehicle comes to a halt. A man in an explorer hat is grinning at them, joyous,  "Dr. Bravestone!" He greets Will, who looks confused, "welcome to Jumanji!"

Mike breathlessly lets out, "who the hell--"

"Well, what are you just standing there for? Get in!" The man gestures everyone to get inside the car, when Dustin and Lucas suddenly pushes through the first four, slamming the back of the man's seat, as they panted.

"Go, go, go!"

Mike and El follows, and since the vehicle isn't capable of holding all of them, El settles on Mike's lap, "Dustin! We won't fit! Sit on Lucas' lap!" She advises the boy who looks disgusted.

"Hell no!"

"Just do it!" Mike shouts, watching the remaining two run to the vehicle.

The two boys gags as Dustin sits on Lucas' lap, and [Name] settles next to them while Will sits on the passenger seat. The vehicle immediately drives away, and everyone watches in bated breath as the hippos stops, roaring at the food that managed to escape them.

 
Will jumps in his seat when the man beside him speaks enthusiastically,  "Dr. Bravestone. Famed archaeologist and international explorer. Known across the seven continents for your courageous exploits."
