Only Ones Who Know

THE BAZAAR.

Water engulfed [Name]. The hand she held slipped from her gasp, and for a moment, she panicked. But kicking her legs and moving her hands, she resurfaced with a big inhale. The waterfall is just on their left, the water falling on the river exploding in her ears. The girl then gets rid of the water on her face. Dustin is being helped by El and Mike while Lucas is on the water still beside her. [Name] snaps her head aroumd as she manages to stay afloat, worry spreading across her chest as she sees no Will in sight. 

"Will!" She screams above the water. El and Mike echoes after her, and Mike jumps back in the water to look for his friend. The girl does the same, going down into the water and seeing a blur of beige. Mike is already on him, and he pulls the boy up as she swims towards them.

Will gasps for air as he resurfaces, coughing out water as he clings to Mike who brings him to land. [Name] follows them and his friends gathers around Will, all worried.

"Oh my God, Will, are you okay?" El rushes to him.

Everyone but [Name] looks extra worried despite the fact that Will is alright. She wonders why is that as she furrows her eyebrows. As they wait for Will to speak, [Name] gasps as pain starts to erupt from behind her shoulder.  

Turning her upper body around, she curses out, "oh, shit."

Everyone screams for her this time as her body disintegrates into nothing. The arrow that was once behind her back also disappears, and Will scrambles to where she was.

"Oh, my God!" El stood with her mouth open, and the rest follow. 

"Come on, come on!" Will mutters as they all looked up to the sky, a technical ding sounded in the heavens before a familiar figure emerges from the clouds, falling down.

[Name] lands on her two feet, in a semi-crouch and the ground cracks a bit at the impact. She sways a bit, before looking at everyone and standing up straight, "holy shit, you guys. That was the most painful thing I've experienced yet." She laughs breathlessly and El runs to her to engulf her in a bone-crushing hug.

Will releases a breath of relief before he crouches, still shaken up. Running a hand through his wet brown locks, he falls on his butt, elbows resting on his knees. Mike settles next to him.

"Hey, you okay?"

"Yeah, just...shaken up, is all." He quietly answers. Despite the fact that it happened five years ago already, being engulfed in murky waters made it seem like it was only yesterday. But he's glad he's alive for the second time around. Glancing at [Name], he's suprised to see her already looking.

[Name] watches at Will continue to sit with a troubled expression. With how glum and worried everyone was after the jump he made, she figures it's most likely because of a past accident. Giving him a reassuring smile, she pulls a hand out for him to take.

"Come on, Mr. Bravestone, we got a whole game to finish." 

Will lets a smile overtake his features. He lets her pull him up to stand, his hands grasping hers the second time, only this time around, he's falling towards something else. [Name] pulls away way too soon, and Will clenches and unclenches his hand as her warmth leaves the spaces of his palms and fingers.

They hear Dustin snicker, which El pinches him for. A quiet 'ow!' leaves his lips as Will treks forwards, the rest falling into step behind him. El and [Name] fell into the same pace, the two glancing at each other before El releases a giggle.
