THE PLAYERS.

Everyone let silence hung in the air, slowly replenishing their energy before continuing forward. Will has his back on them as he remained silent, and [Name] wonders just what he's thinking about.

'Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry, don't cry, don't cry...' The boy closes his eyes as he purses his lips, keeping his noises to himself as he smacks his neck, trying to kill a mosquito, 'there are so many diseases out here....and it's so hot, too.'

Inhaling deeply, he composes himself before turning to everyone. Okay, this is what the party does. They play video games. Yeah, it's what they're great at.

"Okay, everyone, let's start uh..talking about--this." Will nervously stutters, and Dustin nods with him, standing. It's better to start sooner than later. And with how unfamaliar and unpredictable Jumaji is, it'd probably be only a matter of time before they next catastrophe chases them away.

"You're right. We have no choice so we better start," Dustin walks up beside Will, and he blinks for a while as he notices there's so nuch dirt in his eyes, "what the hell's this?"

"Just clean your lenses, it's probably dust," Will advises as he disappointingly watches as Dustin tries ro clean it with his fingers,"well, anyways, so obviously, with a game like this, there'll be levels." He continues and watches as Lucas perk up.

"Yeah, that's right. In order to finish the game, you gotta complete all the levels." Lucas and the rest starts to follow a walking Will, who definitely still has no idea where to even go. There are so many trees and little bushes that he somehow feel scared of going first because of what might pop up and eat him.

Mike stands, and helps El to stand as well, "and obviously, levels are gonna get harder as we go along," They follows suit, "so, we complete the levels..." he sighs as they start to wonder just where Will is going.

[Name] is the first to speak up about it, "hey Will, do you even know where we're going?" She asks as the boy turns to her, shuffling his feet.

"Kind of." He sounded unsure somehow. The two girls raised an eyebrow whil Mike and Dustin muttered a 'Jesus...'.

Lucas meanwhile, did not take to it kindly, "kind of? Oh, that's good, then. We're in good hands." He looks terrified for a moment after sarcastically retorting. Will ignores him and pulls out the map from his pocket, seeing a ripped corner. He frowns.

"Okay, the missing piece, I'm guessing..."

El suddenly snaps her finger as realization displays itself on her face, "oh my God, that must be what we're looking for--the missing piece of the map!" Her and [Name]'s hand met each other in a high five.

But Will's frown does not go away, "But the problem is, there's nothing here."

Dustin walks up to him, confused. A map with nothing in it? But when he checks, a map is clearly written all over the paper, "what do you mean? It's a map, just like he said. Maybe you're the one that needs glasses."

Will looks at him with a weirded out expression. Because there is absolutely nothing on the paper. The rest walks over to them, looking over Will's shoulder to see a blank piece of paper. Everyone looks at Dustin with a blank expression.

The boy stutters in annoyance, "It's clearly a map of Jumanji. Wha--stop looking at me like that, assholes!"

[Name] remains silent. How is Dustin the only one seeing it? He's mad, isn't he? Staring straight into Dustin's eyes, she sees nothing but confused honesty. How is that? Thinking back on his character, she realizes. Professor....cartography--her eyes widened. That's right!
