Chapter Three

Chapter 3 - Thy hands.

It was just a bungalow. One room, one CR. The house was also well kept. The bed was wide and there is a sofa and a television. Also there is one small room near the kitchen at doon natutulog si Nong Intoy. He was so happy when I came. Sabi niya makakauwi na siya. He wants to spend the remaining days with his love ones kaya hinayaan ko nalang siyang umalis. May malaking bahay sa likod at tabi nito, pero di naman to the point na di na ako nasisinagan ng araw. Meron din napakalaking punong mangga, pero malapit ito sa kapit-bahay. Sabi ni Nong Intoy h'wag daw akong mahiya sa kapit-bahay ko kasi mababait naman daw ito. True to his words may nagpunta sa bahay habang dala ang isang bowl ng ulam.

"Hi neighbor." Bati nito. I also granted her a smile. She was small and beautiful. Morena ito at violet ang kulay ng kanyang buhok. She was wearing an oversized shirt and shorts. Yung talagang pambahay lang. "Hello."

She handed the bowl to me and I gladly accepted it. "For you. Welcome to the block. I'm Abby Salinas." Pagpapakilala nito.

"Thank you, I'm Rogue Wu. Wanna come in?"

"Don't mind if I do." First impression, she's clearly friendly and reliable. She sat on the sofa as if she was always here.

"So hanggang kailan ka mag s-stay dito?" Tanong niya habang ako naman ay nilalapag ang ulam sa mesa. I shrug. "Ewan. Ba'ka pag tinawagan na ako."

She silently stared at me and scan through my body. After giving me a look from up to down, she smiled. "Are you an omega?" I paused. Di ko alam kung anong isasagot ko. What if ma-judge ako. What if she'll humiliate me.

I heard her giggle. "Chill Man! I'm also an omega...wait.." lumabas siya sa bahay at animo'y may tinatawag sa kabila. After a few calls, a tall long-hair girl walk to her. She was wearing black slacks and inserted white polo. As if she was from an office work.

"Babe! This is our new neigbor. Rogue Wu. Neighbor this is my Wife, Kaycee Salinas." Pakilala niya. Then the girl- no, woman, reach her hand. "Hi. Nice to meet you." Nagpunas muna ako ng kamay bago iyong tinanggap.

"Hi."

Natameme lang ako na nakatingin sa kanila habang nakaakbay si Kaycee kay Abby, and I can't help but just stare in awe. " How long have you been married?" Di ko mapigilang tanong.

"Around 5 years already." Sagot ni Kaycee.

"You know what, it's getting dark. But anyways, punta ka saamin bukas Rogue. Kaycee's cousin is finally coming home tomorrow. Will be having a mini feast at ini-invite kita as neighbor."

Nahiya ako at napakamot ng batok. "Will that be okay?" Alanganin kong tanong. "Yeah man. It'll be fine. Dadalo rin ibang kapitbahay kaya no worries." Kaycee assured. I smile and nodded.

"Sige, mauna na kami." Paalam nila. I wave my hand and saw them leave. I closed the door and lock it at kinain ang binigay nilang ulam. Maybe tomorrow ko nalang isasauli tong bowl nila.

After they left I was still in awe. The Kaycee, is clearly a dominant alpha, a bonded one. Kaya naman pala, I can't smell any pheromones from Abby. I stare at the window where I can see Kaycee's house. Why do I have this feeling that, that house is filled with so much pheromones.

Ba'ka dahil narin sa pagod sa byahe ay nakatulog ako kagabe. And it's already, 4 at dawn. Body clock is a bitch. Pansin ko rin na gising na ang ibang kapitbahay ko kaya di na ako natakot lumabas at pumitas ng talong. Nakita ko rin na may mumunting kalabasa rin sa tabi nito. It's good that you have resources everywhere. I pluck two eggplants para sana mag torta. I bought groceries narin kahapon kaya may de lata rin ako, but di ko bet ngayon. Inihaw ko muna ang talong, and the kitchen was open at kitang-kita ko si Abby na nagluluto.
