Chapter One

Ch. 1 - Falling in love again

It's still 6 forty-five in the morning and I was already walking to my office. I just like being early to avoid some of my employees that think they can get me with their low quality seduction. Office hours start at 8, but my day starts at 4 thirty.

I'm Rogue Miller Wu, twenty-eight years old. Have two younger twin siblings, both twenty-one. An omega and currently one of the CEO of our company. Well, I share the company with my brother, while our sister is in charge of the Garnett Ent. A company from my Mom. Well, Zachiry, my brother, is not responsible enough kaya salo ko lahat ng gawain sa trabaho. I sometimes get annoyed and tell him about that pero nilalambing lang ako nito at ako naman na marupok when it comes to my family and nagpadala.

When can I even say no to them? really. Even Zasha, my sister, can get a fool of me. Like she always say, "You just love us so much Kuya. And I love you more!" Minsan ko na silang sinumbong sa parents ko but no effect. When now that I'm twentysomething, almost thirty, I just let them be, let them enjoy their life. Ganun naman talaga basta ikaw yung nakakatanda sakanila.

I was at my office already. I look around the monotone colored walls. The expensive furnitures and figurines. My eyes came across on a photo. It was me, ten years ago. Smiling, but I was clearly high from nicotine that time. Why did they hang this? Tanong ko ulit. I sigh and decided to take it down, but as I flip it over my nalaglag na note galing dito.

Do not take this down. This was your first photo taken after you came back to us. I just want to let you know to be happy even if you had experience something painful. I want you to look at this and know you are stong. Love Mom.

Ang aga-aga pinapaiyak ako ni Mama. I saw my reflection on the big ass mirror, my sister gave it to me. I was wearing black polo under my, also black, tux. The first two button was undone and I was not wearing a necktie. I also pair it with my black trousers and black tictact shoes. My hair was lazily brush and my body structure was lean, not too petite and not too mascular. I gym once a week, kaya di ko masasabi na payat talaga ako. I have a fair complexion,  ganon din si Dad. My mom is slightly Morena, well maybe because she love beaches so much.

My lashes are long, my brows are thick and slightly pouty thin lips. Well, I clearly look like my Mom. I walk near my window and endulged myself watching the street getting busy and saw some people taking their morning jogs. And then I saw one familiar built, its been days and here he is again. My ex. He was the one that drag me to that hell and I don't want that to happen again.

His bleached hair was all messy, he was also wearing a rag jacket and ripped pants and also a converse shoes. He was at his thirty, clearly. He grown a beard, he was all messy looking. Guess he hasn't run away from that life.  I saw him cross the road and talk to the security guard.  The guards trying to push him away but he keeps insisting.  I heard my phone beep before a voice mail. "Mister Wu, there is a Harry Jones in the lobby, claiming his your friend." I walk towards my desk and pick up the phone.

"I know him but his not my friend, and he's forbidden to talk to me or get near me. Tell him you'll call the authorities kung ayaw niyang umalis." I said and walk back near the window. I don't know what's in his head. He was already given a restraining order. Babalik siya sa kulungan kung lalapit pa siya ulit saakin.

I saw he freeze for a moment and I can see him all terrified but he laughed as he rub his index finger to his nose. He started walking away but keep glancing at the guards. He cross the road again at pinasok ang isang eskinita. He was clearly high again. For all I know, he'll use me again, try to manipulate me again. But he was wrong there. I was clearly over him. It took a lot of therapies and session before I was back for being me.
