"so... we're good with the plan right?" jay asked from over facetime.

"yep" said sunoo.

"yea" I said.

"I mean I guess" said jungwon.

I hung up.

it was 3 am.

I sighed and rolled over in my bed.

I sighed and looked at the clock.

Friday, 6:30 am.

I was so sick of school.

thank god it was a friday.

I successfully made it through my morning routine, got myself to school, and arrived to a practically empty room.

no sunoo, no jieun.

what's going on?!

I tried not to worry about it too much. maybe they were just late... right?

that had to be it.

it was halfway through 3rd period now.

jieun had the same 3rd period as me, and she still hadn't showed.

as far as i'm aware, neither did sunoo.

it's just a coincidence that neither of them are here right?!

I sighed again.

it was getting kinda lonely.

then the doors burst open

"I'm so sorry i'm late professor!"

it was jieun.

"it's fine. just make sure you get the notes from a friend." he said.

jieun took the desk next to me.

"where the hell were you?!" I whispered angrily.

"I was up way too late last night... I slept through my alarm." she whined.

"why were you up so late?!" I asked.

there was a pause.

she seemed to think about it for a second.

"I-... was facetiming ni-ki(?)" she said, very questionably.

"I see..."

yea there's no way I was gonna buy that.

I was gonna ask sunoo about it when (and if) he ever showed.

spoiler alert: he didn't.

"alright ladies and gentlemen, that's your dismissal for today."

I grabbed my bag and ran to my car.

once I got inside the car, I called sunoo.

he answered and proceeded to tell me pretty much the same thing jieun did.

"oh I was on facetime with jay"
