Chapter 11

Ganyu turns around and sees Xiao. She gazes into his amber eyes and finds herself running towards him. She wraps his arms around him and sobs into his chest. "Why are you crying?" he asks again, concerned. 

"I-I thought that you left me." Ganyu looks at him. Xiao laughed. 

"I was just getting some grains for you!" Xiao laughed again. "H-Hey!" Ganyu shouts. "D-Don't laugh!" Xiao laughed even harder. 

When they both calmed down, Ganyu asked Xiao a question. "When are you going to leave?" Xiao looked away. "I-I don't know." 

He seems conflicted. Why wouldn't he want to go back to the Wangshu Inn?  Ganyu wondered.

Ganyu looked at Xiao again. He seems so sad. I want to hug him...

Ganyu found herself standing up and walking towards Xiao. She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him. "I'm sorry Xiao. I'm sorry that you had to suffer so much. And I'm sorry that I'm getting close to you. I'm being selfish, wanting to love yo-" "Shut up!" Xiao snapped. 

This time Ganyu did not back down. "No, I'm not going to shu-" Xiao leaned forward and kissed her on the lips. "Ganyu... I love you too." Xiao admitted.

Ganyu told herself to take responsibility. If she loved him then he would suffer. But looking at him, his beautiful amber eyes, black hair with streaks of dark green, and a perfect figure, Ganyu knew that she was in love with him. And there was nothing Ganyu could do about it. So she leaned towards him and kissed him back. They parted after a minute, a string of saliva connecting their lips. Ganyu smiled. And Xiao smiled back.

"Ahh! This is so cute!" one of the medics smiled. The other one laughed in agreement. They looked back and found that Xiao had disappeared. "What did I say about eavesdropping?" a cold voice behind them said. They looked behind them and saw Xiao. Xiao looked into Ganyu's pleading eyes and sighed. "Hmph." The two medics quickly left them and went to their own rooms. 

"Xiao... You're pretty scary..." Ganyu shuddered at the thought of what he would do if she hadn't stopped him. "I-I don't like it." Xiao's gaze softened. "I'll try to be 'less scary' around you, okay?" Ganyu smiled.

"Um... Well... would you like to sleep in my room?" Xiao asked sheepishly. Um, um, um. I've never slept in a boy's room! "Um... sure?" Ganyu replied, unsure.

Ganyu followed Xiao to his room. Xiao walked inside and started to take off his shirt. Ganyu quickly turned away, her face turning red. "Xiao!" 

After Xiao got into his pajamas he went to his bed and laid down. "Come on." he beckoned Ganyu to come to the bed. Ganyu's face turned bright red when realization hit her. "I'm going to sleep next to you!?" 

Ganyu climbed onto the bed slowly. She got under the covers and turned away from Xiao. She refused to let Xiao know that she was blushing furiously. "Goodnight." Xiao whispered, his breath tickling Ganyu's neck. Ahhhh!! Ganyu screamed internally. "G-Goodnight." she whispered back.

Xiao let out a soft chuckled. Heh. I don't usually change before going to bed.
