Jueyun Karst. The abode of the adepti. Most of the adepti live here, but one of them stays at the Wangshu Inn. The adepti goes by the name of Xiao and is known to be strong and edgy. He mostly leaves the humans alone, and in return, they leave him alone.
One of the adepti that calls Jueyun Karst home is a young woman named Ganyu. She has long blue hair, pink eyes, and a kind, gentle nature. Another adepti, named Cloud Retainer who takes the form of a crane, takes care of Ganyu, so when she hears Ganyu's request, she is shocked. What was Ganyu's request?
"I would like to go to Liyue Harbor."
"Liyue Harbor?" Cloud Retainer exclaims. "Yes," Ganyu replies. "For what reason?" Cloud Retainer asks. "Up here in the mountains, it gets very lonely and often I find myself wondering what it would be like to live in Liyue Harbor. That's why I would like to go to the city!" Ganyu told her. She was smiling and she seemed really excited. "I will allow you to go, but there won't be any adepti in Liyue Harbor." Cloud Retainer sighed. "What about the Conqueror of Demons?' Ganyu asked. "Hmm, I will ask him to accompany you on the journey. Now go to Wangshu Inn!
At Wangshu Inn...
"Xiao! I have a message from Cloud Retainer!" Verr Goldet said, knocking on his door. The door opened and Xiao's scowling face appeared. "Here you go," Verr Goldet gave him the message then left him. Xiao closed the door then read the message. "Please accompany Ganyu, a half Qilin, half human to Liyue Harbor..." Xiao read on. He closed his eyes and sighed. Seems like there was no choice.
