"Wangshu Inn, Wangshu Inn," Ganyu hummed as she walked along the Liyue road. "Wangshu Inn, Wangshu Inn." She looked forward and could see a tree with a building built around it. The one and only Wangshu Inn! She started running to the tree to greet Xiao
Xiao looked outside the window. "When is she going to come?" he asked, quite annoyed. Then he saw her. She was outside running towards the inn. He looked around her and saw a hilichurl camp to her right. "Great," he grumbled. They were now coming at her, but she couldn't see them. And with a flash of dark anemo, he was gone.
Ganyu had no idea that there were hilichurls behind her, and she kept up her pace to the Wangshu Inn. Then she tripped. She was about to hit the ground when she felt arms around her waist. She looked behind her and saw Xiao, and immediately she blushed deep red. "Watch out!" he said. She turned around and realized that hilichurls were chasing her. Xiao summoned his Primordial Jade Winged-Spear and with a few powerful slashes, all the hilichurls were dead. Wow. Xiao truly is powerful in combat. Ganyu thought.
"Thank you Xiao!" Ganyu said with a smile. "Pay attention to your surroundings. You could've died." Xiao snapped. Ganyu looked at the ground, surprised at the sudden outburst and ashamed. Xiao felt somewhat bad for making Ganyu feel like that and apologized. "No, you're right. But can you teach me how to fight how you fight?" Ganyu asked. This is getting worse and worse. I thought I was only supposed to escort her to Liyue. Xiao frowned. But if she doesn't learn to keep herself, she could find herself in worse situations that now. "Hmph. Fine." Xiao replied.
