Qingxin Flowers

(Bonus) Chapter 20

Xiao and Ganyu walk back, Xiao with his arm around Ganyu to support her. They had their minds on everything but the encounter with the Fatui a few days ago. But the Fatui did not forget about them. They were going to kill Xiao. Whatever it took.

They were going to use the same tactic as before, capturing Ganyu. But this time, no mercy. They had been to laid-back last time and they weren't going to make the same mistake twice.

Once they arrived at their house, it was getting late. Ganyu placed the Qingxins in the flower vase and poured some water inside. Mmm. Looks good... 

Ganyu got one of the extra Qingxins and took a bite out of the petal. Xiao looked quizzically. "Isn't it bitter?" he asked. 

Ganyu devoured the flower and Xiao chuckled. Ganyu turned around to look at him, her face flushing red. "Don't laugh!" 

Xiao smiled. "C'mon. It's late." 

They navigated the insides of the house. Xiao found two bedrooms and Ganyu found three. "Five!?" they exlaimed. Xiao pointed to the bedroom closest to the door. "I'll take that one." Ganyu looked at the ground. "Err... Can I-I sleep with you?" she asked sheepishly.  

Xiao nodded. "You don't have to act so embarrassed!" he laughed. 

They walked towards the bedroom. 

The Fatui were watching...

Once they got to the room, they realized they didn't have much to unpack. They had a few pairs of clothes, but most of the things they had in the other house were already there. 

"Shall we make our move tomorrow?"

They got into the bed and said their goodnights. They slept, falling asleep in each others arms. 

"Yes." Childe and his Fatui skirmishers left.
