Xiao awoke to the sun high in the sky. It's light shone across the land of Liyue. "Beautiful," Xiao murmured. Wait. Sun high in the sky? Xiao stood up and immediately looked for Ganyu.
He found her lying down, perfectly safe. He sighed, then sat down near her. He heard a yawn and saw Ganyu waking up. She blinked, then looked at Xiao. "Good morning Xiao!" she smiled.
Xiao simply grunted and looked away in response. "We just need to get to Liyue soon," Xiao told her.
Ganyu stood up, then winced from the pain. Xiao dashed over to her and eased her down. "Don't push yourself." Xiao said gently.
Ganyu frowned. Am I just a burden now? I can't fight and I can't walk. How are we going to get to Liyue? "Should we just wait? I'm in no position to travel currently." Ganyu asked.
"You can't recover without medical treatment. I think I'm going to have to leave you here and get someone to help you," Xiao told her.
Ganyu looked at him. He did not want to do this. Ganyu wore a positive smile. "I'll be fine by myself," she lied.
"I should head out now. The earlier the better." And with that, Xiao took off.
