CHAPTER 5

KATIE'S POV

Something special? What could that mean? Is that evil kidnapper going to send us knives so we can murder people? 'Cause I don't want to do that.

"Why are we forced to do this? YOU SON OF A BITCH!" I heard someone yell. I turn my head toward the direction of the voice and there I found Sabrina shaking in anger, "YOU CAN'T HAVE PEOPLE MURDER EACH OTHER!" I agree with that but I think Sabrina should really calm down.

I usually never see Sabrina angry, especially this much angry. She usually is grinning or calm at diffucult situations... Sometimes I even wonder about her sanity... Well anyone in this group's sanity. May is crazy, Carrie is crazy, Annie is slightly crazy... Even I'm slightly crazy... I don't really know about Sabrina's other five friends but I'm pretty sure they're crazy too.

I saw that Sabrina's two friends, Mary and Arrianna was comforting her, telling her to calm down and we'll find some sort of escape. Then I saw Sabrina shot up from the ground that she was recently sitting from and mumbled something about going to the bathroom.

Does she really need to go?

Or does she just need some space....

I decided to follow her from behind to make sure she's safe because there's still might be four people that could be after our blood... Two is better than one... right?

I followed her as she carved in arrows pointing toward the apple grove. I had to hide behind bushes and the thick undergrowth so she won't know she's being followed....

Good Job Katie... You officially became one of those creepy friend stalker... I'm seriously going even more crazy by the second... but hey, desperate times comes for desperate measures. Hey! I'm making philosophy statements! That'll definitely get me famous one of these days!

        CRACK!

Oops! I accidently stepped on a twig and snapped it in half. I saw Sabrina quickly snap towards my direction, but I ducked behind a close blueberry bush before she could have seen me.

Then I heard her muttering, "Someone's defininitely following me." I barely could have heard what she said but it was loud enough for me to catch every word. Sabrina would of course have figured that out... She's practically the crazy genius in our group!

"COME OUT MY FOLLOWER!" Sabrina started yelling, " YOU HAVEN'T GIVEN ME ANY FACEBOOK LIKES! SO STOP FOLLOWING ME AND GO AWAY!"

I started laughing really hard and said in between those laughs, "Sabrina--- you- don't even--have a fa--cebook acount!" Well... I blew my cover.

Sabrina's eyebrows shot up in the air in surprise, "Katie? You're the last person I'd expect to follow me...."

"Then I guess you underestimated me!" I said with a large grin.

Sabrina didn't grin back like usual, " Just please leave me alone to think... I have an extremely good idea in who kidnapped us..."

Now it was my turn to be surprised, "Really?" I paused for a moment and then asked," Who?"

"I'm not completely sure but I'll tell when I'm 150% sure..." then Sabrina quickly walked away before I could ask anymore questions.

        Well... That was unusual...

I decided to go back to our little camp by following the arrows that Sabrina had carved already.

I paused for a moment. I closed my eyes and listened to music that the birds sing everyday in this place and heard the crickets chirping. I opened my eyes and continued on walking, I guess this place isn't as bad as I thought.

I heard chattering, arguing, and some sobbing.

What in the world happened to create such a commotion?

"Katie... you're back..." Annie said in a bland, unethusiastic voice. I could see that she was holding in tears. I then saw her hand clutching onto something.

"What happened?" I asked, scared to find out.

"I don't want to tell," Annie said as she shook her head and turned away to walk in another direction.

I grabbed her arm and turned her to face me, "What Happened?" I demanded for an answer. I kept asking over and over again as I shook her.

"Fine..." Annie picked up a green backpack and shoved it to me."Open it." I looked into Annie's expression, it seems like she didn't want me to see anything in there...

I opened the bag to find supplies. A compass, iodine, a sharp knife, a bag of seeds, books, fishing line, fishing pole, fishing stuff in general, and... pictures?

I pulled out the pictures to find... No. no. no. no. No. No. NO! WHAT IS THIS? WHY IS MY FAMILY TIED UP ON A CHAIR?

Each picture held one of my family members. My mom, my dad, my brother. They all wore the same expression. Fear.

Who is this sick, cruel person? Why is he doing this to us?

I collapsed onto the ground with tears flowing out of my eyes. My parents... my brother... I would never wish this upon any of them... even my annoying, idiotic brother.

WHAT IS THIS? I don't care anymore. We need to find a way out. We need to save them. We need to find everyone. We need to survive.

_______________________________________

That kidnapper is plain cruel... tsk tsk tsk.

Anyways! I hope you enjoyed this so far... even though it was slightly sad.... and creepy in a way...

I wonder where Sabrina ended up anyways?

Katie is quite character too... Well all of them are... and I personally think they're all crazy. Well you know what they say... a book reflects how the writer really is. In my case, CRAZY. :D

But I feel bad for them... Imagine being kidnapped and thrown into some stupid dome and ending up finding your parents were kidnapped by the crazy psychopath.
