CHAPTER 12
Sabrina's POV
Now I'm upset.
Upset by the fact that someone was dead because of me.
Upset that Ned is probably somewhere out there laughing his head off.
Upset about how dark the atmosphere this little base is.
Why do I always have this hate relationship with geniuses?
Because of it someone died.
May died.
May the now dead human.
May... The person that gets high on sugar too easily.
She's dead now.
Chris came up to me and tried comforting me, "Even though I didn't like May as much... She wasn't that bad... It wasn't your fault Sabrina... She would've killed us anyway." Yeah... That helped... I just stayed silent. Because I wasn't going to say anything, Chris just walked away. I looked over at the small group that was talking away about something unknown. After a few minutes, Alli, who was part of that chatting group walked toward me.
"Sabrina," She held onto my shoulders and looked straight into my eyes. Probably something else to comfort me, "It was your fault."
Wait. What?
"Maya blowing up on Danielle was your fault,"
Where is Alli going with this?
" Maya taking out that knife was your fault."
...Wha? Now I'm confused.
"Maya attacking your friend Mary Anne, was your fault."
Still confused.
"Maya hitting you instead of Mary was..."
"Alli... That was definitely my fault. Maybe if I covered myself in a better way, May would have never hit me..." Now I see what she's doing... She's trying to make me feel better by saying something of the opposite, "Alli thanks... but doing whatever you're doing is not helping..."
"Ok. Ok. Ok." Alli, " I hope you understand that none of this is your help though. Ari did what she had to do and if May did live... We would all die."
I just did a thumbs up and collapsed onto the ground out of exhaustion.
