Like A Curious Child [Keichi's Entry]

--Iskall's POV--

An hour ago, I messaged Beef to meet up near 'my' boat. I had my doubts that he would get the location right, which is why I didn't think much about his tardiness, but more than an hour had passed by and there was still no sign of the hermit. I double checked the tablist and confirmed that Beef is indeed online for the past hour now.

My patience was wearing thin and my excitement to show my present was omega. I strapped the elytra around my back, launched up in the air, and headed towards the jungle area.

A minute passed and the world started to load it's chunks, revealing the omega tree of doom in its incomplete glory! I took a plunge down inside the tree trunk and landed on the staircase. "Beef! Are you here?"

No one answered back. The tree was filled with silence. I took a few steps up the staircase till a bright color of yellow caught my eye. Unbelievable! The guy made a bedroom in my omega tree, without my consent!

Actually this is technically his omega tree now, so he now has access to everything I previously owned [other than my 2000+ diamonds] while I'm just a one brain cell weirdo.

I think I'm just overreacting a bit, the bedroom he made is actually good. Interior and decor is what my omega tree base lacks, same goes for some other omega bases [of Doom]. Maybe the HCBBS wasn't a bad idea..

Bases... Swapped bases... Speaking of Swapped bases, I'm supposed to be showing Beef something in my Swapped base, but what was it aga-

Just then, something else caught my curious eye. "What's this?" I asked. I stopped by the small entrance and curiously glanced at the activities inside the room. "No way... This is actually cool!" I exclaimed to myself. Inside the room was an arcade! It was small compared to other arcades, and there were only two games available, but this was still so good.

I found myself studying at the arcade machine, poking the two small buttons in front of me. I felt like a kid in a toy store, determined to press every button until I can find out how the toy works. Unfortunately this is only for decoration, so we couldn't really play any of these games, but still! How are people so talented with armour stand tricks?!

Once I exited the tiny arcade, I walked back to the bedroom and glanced at the whole area again . The area has definitely changed, but it was honestly nice of Beef to keep the style of this base. Leaves flowed down on the wall, like a growing vine, and he kept the big hole and transformed it to a proper balcony. I leaned carefully on the glass pane as I took a quick glance outside the tree.

There was this weird fuzzy in my stomach, and the feeling continued to grow the longer I stayed in this part of the tree. I don't know how to properly explain the feeling, it felt like someone comforting you, except no one actually is and you are just standing alone in the room, and that's comforting enough . That kind of feeling? I honestly don't anymore. Lol.

Alright, I'm getting side tracked here. I seriously need to find Beef-

Once again, something else caught my eye. I pushed myself closer to the edge of the balcony as a silhouette of a rounded square danced around the side of the tree.

My curiosity took over. I hopped on top of the glass pane and dived down to the lower trunk of the tree. I slowly glided around the roots till I finally found what I saw at the balcony.
